The hotel is olde worlde, impeccably furnished with very large rooms. Beds are so comfortable and room service excellent. Staff are efficient (bordering on efficious at times though) and food excellent. Would highly recommend.

When you first walk in you think you have walked back in time (especially if you get the old lift at the river end), then you walk into your room and wow i was gob smacked by how beautiful it was. I was lucky to have a balcony (huge) that overlooked the city, great view. The bar was fantastic with...

Hotel very good – full of character, large room and bathroom, good service and distinctive interior. Casino very disappointing. Loud busy and brash with poor and somewhat expensive food and rather mixed service. (posting of review delayed by subsequent illness)

We stayed at Treasury Hotel several years ago & loved the experience, especially the soaring ceilings and sumptuous marble bathroom. On this occasion we couldn't book for our entire stay in Brisbane & booked out of a wonderful hotel in Mary Street to stay at the Treasury which was about $100 a night more expensive. We were disappointed with the...

These historic hotel and casino is much resting on its laurels. Corridors and rooms smell of smoke and dirt. Charming staff, let down very badly by the product. Extremely old fashioned slot machines, more last century than Vegas today.

When building a Treasury building, naturally no expense is spared and everything is done so that the building reflects the confidence and substance of the local economy. This is what makes the Treasury Hotel and Casino so impressive and characterful. As other reviewers have noted, the rooms and public areas are elegantly proportioned. When most 4 or 5 star hotels...

Had a one night stopover en route to Sydney (whoever knew no Brisbane Sydney flights after 9pm!) and thought I would treat myself to a night in The Treasury. Just love that place. Huge rooms, like 2 stories high, oh so comfy beds!!! Coffee machine with REAL milk in the fridge, marble bathrooms with BIG bath and separate shower, a...

We stayed there recently for two nights in a two double bed room . The hotel is across the park from the Casino and is extremely well situated next to the river just a short walk to the Mall and across the river to South Bank. It is a lovely old sandstone building and we had an extremely large room...

Stayed in the Hotel Parlour Room. Very spacious and quite lovely. We love buildings with some history. Beautiful high ceilings in room added to sense of space. Nice place to stay. Room looked out over river, Wheel of Brisbane and freeway. Quite picturesque at night. Quiet traffic-wise but a bit noisy located opposite elevator on level 3. I found the...
