The staff were very attentive, well mannered and friendly. The property was very clean and tidy and the rooms were very comfortable. I was not aware of the existence of the property prior to this stay and will use it next time I am in Brisbane.
We are a family of three and had a great stay. We were staying for 20 nights during the school holidays. We had a mixture of tourist days, medical appointments, shopping, chilling out but the most exciting was our daughter joining a holiday drama workshop and taking the lead! Would highly recommend The Royal on the Park which was our home for 20 nights.
Royal On The Park ticked all the boxes for us.The location is perfect walking distance to Southbank through the Botanic Garden which are amazing, close to the mall and coffee and eating spots. The facilities at the hotel were great from the pool to gym the bar and restaurant downstairs plus free parking. We had a great nights sleep the beds were super comfy. The staff were great and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Day 3 our room was left dirty with no replishment of tea and coffee in the room despite putting the sign to make our room, this was not a great treatment. We ask the receptionist Alexandra who appeared harrassed when we approached her on the morning of the 22/09/22 to ask if we can check out late on 23/09/22 as our flight was in the evening, she said check-out can be anytime. Unfortunately, me and two children went out roaming the city thinking we can come back and rest to our room before heading to the airport. When my daughter attempted to use her key to put an item in the room.she was locked out and told we should have checked out at 11am. Despite insisting we were told by Alexandra we could check out late, we told that we needed to vacate the room immediately and our luggage would be kept for us. I was disappointed by this as instead of a proper apology we were treated like we could not understand English and they blamed that the front desk staff that misinformed us was in training. I have stayed in many hotels we have never been treated like this. Please if you need to check our late ensure you ask them to pur in on your room booking and ensure the staff at the desk speak and understand you as they pretend you are the one who misunderstood.…
Awesome stay as always. Great location, onsite parking, very friendly staff, goodbar and an awesome buffet breakfast selection. Our bathroom was slightly dated but overall a great hotel. Location right opposit the park and a few minutes walk to the city centre and restaurant is a bonus too.
Good old fashioned care. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Awesome pillows and cleanliness. Everything you need is easily attainable. Parking is an added bonus that you don’t get at any other hotel. Having the space everywhere around the hotel is refreshing. You can actually see plenty of sky. Having the botanical gardens right next door is second to none. The bikeways near by a a bonus and we loved hiring the beam scooters daily as an added extra fun activity.
We would highly recommend Royal on the park if visiting Brisbane. The location is outstanding with easy access to the central city , the river area and the beautiful botanical gardens it ticks all the boxes. The coffee machine and fresh milk and water in the fridge for our stay just added to the experience. From arrival and check in through to check out all staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. This is not a. Modern hotel but it ticks all the boxes on comfort, location, cleanliness and service.
We've stayed here a few times and it's our choice for hotels in the Brisbane CBD. As it's right across the road from the botanical gardens it's a good spot for that and is a nice escape from the CBD. Also close to the walkway to Southbank, the rest of the CBD and of course Walters if you're looking for a nice steak dinner! The rooms are good and it's always a plus to have a nice Japanese bidet toilet in the bathroom. I'd recommend this hotel for an affordable yet quality stay in the city.
Overall experience was great, we had our wedding preparation here, staff was attentive to our needs. Rooms were large and clean. Breakfast buffet had a broad range, was perfect. Only fault would have liked a mini bar.
The hotel was located opposite the botanic gardens and with the electronic scooters available around the city it was easy to get across the river for a wonderful day out. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was pleasant.
