In Brisbane for a wedding, couldn't have found a better place to stay. Recently renovated room in a charming lodge. Breakfast included. Situated in one of Brisbane's most beautiful suburbs. Room was an apartment with kitchen and was spacious. Push bikes able to be used too.

After staying in commercial hotels of late what a treat rocking up to what looks like a beautiful house. No massive tiled foyer to walk through, no waiting for a lift , no long carpeted corridor that leads to your room, just a simple stairway that lead to our beautiful room that feels like just like home.. Mind you I...

Crisp clean sheets, great host, excellent breakfast, outstanding location, all made our fist stop in Australia so great. As advertised, and sometimes even better. STONGLY recommend! Hosts could do enough to help us with most any need.

Love this place. Understated but very good service. Great attention to detail notwithstanding I could have used a couple more hangers in my room this trip. Kitchen always well stocked and caters for gluten free. Rooms well appointed and very comfortable.

Very convenient location. Surprisingly little traffic noise. Comfortable room, reasonably priced. Loved the 'historical' feel of the old building. Unfortunately, remote did not work for TV (batteries?). Would definitely come again.
