Decent hotel with a pool. The room had a strange damp smell and was right outside the luggage collection area. The breakfasts were let down as they had no Soya milk and no pastries. The team doing the breakfast also let things run out rather than replacing them proactively. For example, we had to wait ages for the fruit to...

We just returned to Canada from a month in Australia. During our stay down under we flew to Cairns to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and from Sydney book to stay at the Coral Tree Inn in Cairns. The hotel is small but extremely customer friendly, the staff are very hospitality focused and go out of their way to provide...

Coral Tree Inn is located close the center of Cairns, around 5-10 minutes walk from the restaurants area and 10 minutes to the esplanade and the beach. The rooms are fairly sized and very clean, the pool is a great extra and is usually unoccupied so you can have it to yourself. Breakfast is available but for an extra charge...

I'm a leader of a diving group of 26 people from Hong Kong. We stayed at Coral Tree Inn 3 days before and after our liveaboard diving trip in GBR. This hotel was recommended by a tourist centre and we found that the location is really quiet even though it's nearby the town. The room is clean and service is...

We stayed there for 3 days and from the moment we got there, the man at the front desk, Kimchee was extremely helpful and always put a smile on our faces. High quality customer care. The main reason we gave this hotel 5 stars is because of him. It's a close walk to the esplanade. The room was pretty good,...

Recently for 2 nights. Reception was very helpful, buffet breakfast was excellent, the only downside was the 4 slice toaster that only cooked on one side! Room was small, bed was comfortable and the pool was excellent. Good budget accomadation.

This pleasant small hotel is located a ten-minute walk from the Esplanade. Lovely tropical courtyard with natural-style swimming pool. Rooms are not luxurious but clean and well-equipped. No elevator but friendly staff will help you up the stairs with your bags. The only downside is that there are no restaurants without walking a few blocks (breakfast only is served), but...

Stayed for a week October 16. Very friendly and helpful staff. Adequate sized room, overlooking small pool. Hot shower, tea and coffee facilities, laundry and restaurant for breakfast ( we didn't use) Room bit dated and tired but still fine for a base close to centre and all activities.
