This hostel is really good. It changes my mind about backpacker hostel. We have 2 girls so we stay in a room with 2 single beds. It is clean with electric fan and air conditioner as well. We pay $162 for 3 nights (for 2 people) so it is just around $80 each for 3 nights (i booked it through...

This hostel was awesome. The Manager and her assistants went all out to provide a super clean room. The prices are very affordable and close to town. I walked from the hostel to town and back, without the use of a bus. They also helped with setting up tours and giving recommendations on the best companies to use for seeing...

What a good place to be in paradise. Loved every second of it and I'm going to miss every single person here. It felt like home. It does its name justice. Great party's and also a good place to chill out. The staff get 10 points for awesomeness.

I loved being invited to join everything!! And when I couldn't participate they were genuinely hoping I could for the next activity. It will always be my preference when I travel to Cairns - best bits of all my backpackers experiences in one place 😎

You get what you pay for. You could at least clean the rooms and the bathrooms. When I first enter in my room it was dirty and there were ants everywhere!! Bathrooms awful and the building is old. Like REALLY OLD. I would never stay here again. But like is said if you pay 15$ per night this is what...

I specially chose this because I have seen that some people absolutely loved it and others hated it, so i wanted to see where to I stand. Drum rolls please... I absolutely LOVED it. The staff was friendly and helpful, but no non-sense and direct, something I like. The best aspect of the hostel is the crowd there they will...

Love this hostel- it becomes your home so quickly and I'm really sad to be leaving! The people are all amazing- especially that Canadian guy who works there... I think his name is alex? If you ask him nicely, he'll change your bed for you and dance for you whenever you want! Best part of my days!!

this place is super chilled but the parties are good too. It's a really welcoming vibe, feels like a second home. The staff are all really helpful and fun, especially Alex. He's the boy I love him. Miss you dude.

So me and my friend both stayed in the Asylum in Sydney and that was amazing! But then we found out that there was one in Cairns too! Ended up staying here for 9 days and it was the best time we had in Australia!!! If I was coming back I would defiantly come and stay here no question about...

Great hostel, at least when I stayed they let you bring your own booze which saves you a lot of dollar. Dorm beds were quite nasty, but being the cheapest in town cant really complain. They offered a fridge for your drinks which was great and arranged all kinds of tours and social activities everyday! Good place to meet other...
