The position is good, on the main thoroughfare with restaurants and shopping all within easy walking distance. The unit we stayed in was very nice with two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a large balcony overlooking one of the two swimming pools. The kitchen is adequate with all basic utensils and pots and pans needed if you want to self...

The location is great but sadly the apartment complex is very dated. We were given an apartment that was very dirty and dated with a low standard of maintenance. We were unable to complain when we arrived because the duty manager left early (it was boxing day). We did not stay there but found alternative accommodation of a better standard...

I am sorry that this accommodation did not live up to your expectations. This is an older style complex and is priced accordingly. Our owners are continuing to update their units and we have a large repeat clientele as guests love the location and old charm of these spacious apartments. The housekeeping issues you pointed out to me the following...

We had a great 5 night stay through scoopon at the Driftwood Mantaray and was lucky enough to be put into apartment 18 which has been updated. This apartment has two bedrooms, a separate toilet with a basin and a bathroom with a big shower, good water pressure and vanity basin, all on the top floor. The only down size...

We stayed four nights last week in a three bedroom apartment and everything was excellent. Three large bedrooms, comfortable beds, great aircon throughout and a lovely balcony. While the layout of this apartment was a little unusual it worked perfectly for us. The upstairs bedroom was loft style and had its own sitting area and tv also. Would be a...

These apartments are in a great location on the end of Macrossan St close to the beach about a 1km walk to the other end of Macrossan St. The quality of the apartments can vary widely due to each apartment having different owners. Some are quite dated and could do with a refresh, others have been refreshed. The tour desk...

A huge disappointment. Arrived to find a small 2bed apartment in need of a refurbishment. Kitchen cupboards are old and drawers held together by old glue and old food in cutlery drawer that falls out each time you open it past a few inches. The one very small bathroom houses a washer and dryer and very old shower fittings that...

I rented out two apartments for myself and 7 others which worked out to be really cheap. It was during the off-season and it was a special but the price still gets me. The apartments were absolutely stunning. Very nice sized, full kitchen and lounge with plenty of DVDs, books, and magazines. A spa in the main bathroom and the...

I stayed for 5 nights at these self contained apartments with a great balcony overlooking the pool and Macrossan st. They are in a great location down the end of the main strip and a minute away from the warm waters of Port Douglas beach. On arrival, the apartment was neat and tidy, it was a great size, comfortable and...
