Thanks Glengarry for another great 7 weeks. Great staff - thanks Max, Margie, Di, Delphine, Michael x 2. Lovely setting, clean amenities and camp kitchen and lots of great people. Very friendly park. Entertainment in the camp kitchen every now and then. Hopefully will be back again next year. Cheers Geoff & Jeanette Euroa

We stayed on a powered sight for about ten weeks from July to October and had a great time. Only problem we had was when it rained our grassed sight turned into a quagmire. Can't comment on the facilities as we have an ensuite. Staff were friendly and helpful

We stayed 4 nights in November; as this is low season the site was very quiet. Lovely landscaping, good pitches not too close together, good, clean facilities. Nice pool, also splash pad with slides etc. Helpful staff. Satnav will take you the wrong way if you are coming from Cairns!

The park is immaculate, all facilities are spotless, and we used one of the 2 camp kitchens which was spacious and well laid out, with all appliances that you could need. The sites are well shaded and pretty, the pool gorgeous- especially lit up at night, and the water park was great fun! (Though the floor does need to be...

This park is looking very tired, we first stayed in 2012 and except for the water park nothing has been done. The roads are in need of repair and the gardens need tending to. The pool is very small and even with 6 people in it, it's very cramped, on one day there were 17 people just standing in it....

Great park, tropical atmosphere, great pool area and clean amenities. Only 10 minutes drive to the centre Port Douglas. Cabins are also clean and tidy although maybe a little expensive and ensuite is very small!

We had a wonderful large site convenient to the camp kitchen, amenities and pool. the camp kitchen is very clean and has all the necessary appliances. There are plenty of showers - no waiting. The pool and water play area are great for the kids. The site was screened with tropical foliage to give great privacy. In our 5 week...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe family villa which had ample room for 2 families, from the time I entered the villa I couldn't get over how clean EVERYTHING was, the bathroom and kitchen were spotless! First impressions fabulous. Friends camped in an unpowered campsite and remarked the camp kitchen and amenities block were also very very clean......the campsite...

A must see is Mossman Gorge with it's gorgeous 2.8Km walk around the national park, through some of the most spectacular rainforest (this is the start of the Daintree Rainforest). There is also the option of day trips to places such as Kuranda via the Train and Skyrail, the Atherton Tablelands, Cape Tribulation or even Cooktown. Surrounded by natural wonders, Port Douglas offers a relaxing holiday destination with its spotless beaches and sparkling freshwater creeks. Experience all BIG4 Glengarry Holiday Park, Port Douglas and surrounds have to offer while enjoying the gorgeous weather of the tropics. We all need time out now and again whatever the weather, so discover the breathtaking northern tropics of Australia in our "GREEN SEASON" months at Port Douglas (December to March). The "GREEN SEASON" is often dramatic, wildly beautiful and eagerly awaited by our tropical rainforests. Without our annual rainfall, there would be no rainforest and, as many visitors discover, our 'Liquid Sunshine' doesn't usually interfere with diving, snorkeling or touring. The climate is seductive. Balmy days dissolve into tropical evenings. The tropics are a feast for the senses whether we have summer showers or warm sunshine during Winter. If all this is not enough, only 40 minutes drive to the south is Cairns with its shops, movie theatres, restaurants and beautiful Esplanade lagoon. ... more   less

“We had a villa which slept 6 comfortable using the pull out sofa. They originally set up a double double bunk with single above and and trundle in a tiny room for our 4 children, this didn't work as you had to step over the trundle to go to the toilet / get out of the room but as soon as we asked for the sofa bed in the living area to be made up things were much better. Villa was spacious and well equip. ”
