Been staying at Turtle Cove Resort for many years and always have a wonderful stay. The Resort has a variety of rooms some with stunning views of the ocean. The staff at the resort would have to be their greatest asset. If you want a place that is a little out of the way but close to the best that...

This is still our favourite place to relax and unwind! Some people seem to expect 5 star Hilton style accommodation but what you get is a 5 star tropical paradise! You instantly relax when you walk through the doors! The place is earthy and laid back- that is its charm. It's clean has everything you need & the staff are...

Thank you for your great comments, You said it all and it is great that you yet again had a lovely stay. Our 5 stars are not manicured gardens and endless rules and or stuffy staff and prices to match. Our 5 stars, is making sure that our guest relax, do what they like, look what they like and say...

Unreal location and atmosphere. I recently stayed for a week at Turtle Cove and I thoroughly enjoyed the property. From the staff to my beach front room. I stayed alone and it was enjoyable, I felt like it was home. Very, very comfortable! Relaxing around the resort, pool and back yard took majority of my week up. Will definitely be...

Thank you for your kind words, And that's what we are all about. Not only creating good food, dangerous cocktail he...he..he.. but also doing everything we can, to make you totally relax with us and make you forget all the stresses before you got here. Bad luck you can not claim your trip on Medi Care as a health improvement...

Was lucky enough to spend an amazing week in a Beach Front room. Waking up to the sight and sounds of the ocean were amazing. The pool is massive and a perfect place to relax with delicious cocktails and 5-star food. All staff were very friendly and helpful with getting to locations around the area. Love this place!

Thank you for your lovely comments, We are like a family here and try our utmost to make every guests feel special ( not always works he...he..he..) We had a few tropical rains and our lush gardens look amazing with many rare tropical flowers, bushes and trees, that attract amazing colourful insects and butterflies. Our chef just created a delectable...

If Coles pastries served in the bag are your idea of a hotel breakfast - you're in for a treat. The claim "we don't aim to be 5 star" in the welcome letter is underwritten by the prices charged - which are comparable to any 5 star resort in Port Douglas. Spend the afternoon by the unheated pool sipping $26...

I had high expectations of this resort as it claims to be one of the world's premier gay resorts. Even Spartacus rate it for hotel of the week. The room we stayed was Coral Sea view. The resort is in a beautiful spot however it is poorly maintained, dated and boring. Accommodation is motel style stucked. Food is average and...

Thank you for your comments. How sad that all the other comments before yours are obviously all wrong. But then again there are many 5 star resorts (not gay) around, you may prefer to stay at next time, with their never ending rules, for guests to follow and their attached price tags. All the same I am happy that 99.99%...

It had been 10 years since we visited far North Queensland - it too being post Mardi Gras but back then we only had a day trip to Turtle Cove. All the same it was a highlight of that holiday and our reason to return for a longer stay. Stupidly we have waited 10 years to visit again. This time,...

Thank you for your lovely comments. Indeed 10 years was a bit long before your return he...he..he.. We are delighted however, that you had a great time again and although we may, or for that matter not want to be 5 star, with all it's : "do and don't" signs everywhere in other resorts. What a great place to visit. Only 2 rules, don't trash the place and respect the other guests, otherwise treat the place like your home. The staff are very polite and down to earth, always ready to help or assist with inquiries. The food is bloody delicious and always changing. Free wifi in the bar area. Only private access beach...

Thank you for your lovely remarks. And you so right. Any other resort will not allow you to say, look and do what you like. As you say: " only rule is, not to wrack the place and leave other guests be". And our pool and jacuzzi are open 24 hrs for your use. Our pristine secluded beach is just...

Terra Australis. I loved staying at Turtle Cove. A very secluded hideaway. The environment was welcoming and the guests were with good spirits. The chef prepared a fantastic array of meals and a generous morning buffet. The room was clean and fresh and maintained daily. The pool and laundry facilities were all maintained. A very nice resort. The desk will...

I'll keep this brief: excellent food, excellent staff, excellent surrounds, excellent pool, excellent jacuzzi. My room was large and comfortable. I will say plenty of lizards and other sorts as you are in a rain forest but to me that's part of the appeal. I can't wait to come back! I added pictures but I don't think it captures the...
