We are glad to have chosen this central accommodation. We have a balcony overlooking the pool with a pleasant garden and places to sit. The staff are really friendly and helpful with tours and information. It is one block to the beach and close to everything you could want. You do not need a car here.

So glad we chose to stay at Hibiscus. My son picked it as he thought it looked "pretty chill" and loved the Balinese look and feel of the resort. He was spot on. We stayed last week in a one bedroom apartment on the first floor overlooking the smaller pool area. The apartment was the perfect size for us and... More

Reception staff were very friendly. All rooms appear to have a balcony with views of the garden or pool. Good position, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Enjoyed breakfasts by the pool which were included. I am not convinced it was worth $250 per night but Port Douglas is an expensive destination.

Location is great. Don't try to use the cooktops though as it sets of the fire alarm and the fire brigade will turn up apparently. So why advertise rooms that are self contained? I had already gone an bought bacon, eggs, bread etc for breakfast but couldn't cook.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room we had was very dated, in need of a face-lift. Location was excellent. The weather was great, it would've been a terrible time away if it wasn't ...

This is my second time at this resort and although the apartments are tired the location and facilities are excellent. The salt water pool has bean bags to relax on. The complimentary BBQs are well situated. The DVD library may not be the most up-to-date films but a nice option. The location is excellent for easy walkable access with sufficient... More

A gorgeous tropical small resort that has put in some effort to create a Balinese feel. There are a lot of rooms but all have privacy thanks to the lush plants and trees. It's in a great location, just a few minutes walk to Macrossan Street and to Four Mile Beach. Still quiet at night though. Beds are firm but... More

We stayed for 5 nights recently. We loved it's central location, a 5 minute walk to the marina, beach or main street restaurants. Many other accommodations were a lot further away. The staff were friendly and helpful, the 2 pool areas lovely and the rooms clean. We had a less expensive room (no view from balcony) and this wasn't a... More

Nice place to stay for a couple enjoying Port Douglas, walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and markets but far enough away to be private and quiet! We liked the good quality bedding, balcony, free parking and central swimming pool. Would stay again.
