Beautiful setting to relax and enjoy nature and to get away from the city. Staff were very helpful and the hotel resort was warm and inviting. Loved being able to go to different parts of the resort to eat, drink, rest and enjoy all the facilities.

It's not as good as it was 10 years ago but still a great place to visit - food was overpriced and limited options On menu but otherwise still a great venue It coupled possibly do with some renovations though as some things like boardwalks are falling apart

Very poorly run and maintained "resort", rooms are not cleaned properly, staff are not trained, dining options are limited and over priced with certain dining options closed and not available at all. The place has heaps of snakes and is poorly lit at night, the paths are not mobility friendly and you would struggle with a pram/walker/wheelchair. For the prices...

We stayed in a 3 bedroom executive villa for 7 nights and it was very clean, roomy and comfortable. The pub at the resort only opened Friday and Saturday nights and found the main resort Rest too expensive. I recommend a fully self contained villa and take your own food and drink.

What a beautiful, wonderful paradise Fraser Island is! We're so happy, contented and satisfied to have booked our anniversary getaway with Kingfisher Bay Resort. They helped make our experience in the island truly marvelous and memorable. Well maintained facilities and exceptional service!

The accomodation is cheap ( needs an upgrade by the way ) which was because it was off season, but they get it back at the restaurants as they close down the Sand Bar restaurant which is the cheaper option, The Seabelle and Maheno Restaurants are much more expensive, and as a family of three it cost us over $120...

All very easy and relaxing. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, brilliant pool. Reasonable restaurant prices and excellent food (we thought 'buffet' might mean something less than great but we were wrong). Bring personal insect repellant and something to treat the itches and you'll be fine. Nice boardwalks through the natural environment around the resort.

We were thoroughly impressed with the way the resort did not detract from the environment. We were so impressed to experience our stay on the World's largest sand island and see it's many features in this way.

Loved the Sands Bar - cheap and delicious meals and great value cocktails at happy hour. Sad we missed happy hour at the Sunset Bar but perfect place for sunset over the jetty. The Beauty Spots tour is a must with $80 pp light aircraft flights available half way through the day - strongly recommend doing this, was amazing experience....
