We took the 8:30 am ferry to the island and were a led to account access our Famiy room (2 queen beds) immediately after the informative introduction/orientation. Included in our package was unlimited access to Marineland Melanesia. We visited regularly to watch the massive saltwater crocodiles being fed. We also snorkelled and swam, enoyng the corals and fish up close....

Lots of sea life around the island. Worth staying at the resort to enjoy the snorkeling and diving at a leisurely pace. Dinner served at the Emerald Restaurant was of a high quality. Inventive and delicious dishes. Perfect setting to relax and recuperate after a full day under the sun. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well appointed but decor is...

I took my daughter for a day trip to green island and we enjoyed it.the pool is nice and lots of food outlets including ice cream shop. There is a croc show there aswell and the beach is lovely with fantastic snorkeling. The beach chairs cost about $14 or $35 for two chairs and umbrella. You can snorkel for free...

The location is awesome for its underwater life and views. However, the resort could be better. One does not understand how can the waitress in their restaurant not know english? It took us a long time in explaining what we wanted to have for dinner and ultimately one dish was different from what we had ordered! Also, there are some...

Not suitable for families, out of five groups that all arrived together, our room was the only one not ready, bags not available, so screaming kids with no access to swimmers, totally crap customer service, certainly not worth what we have paid to stay here.

Has been very exciting to spend two days on an island so small and uncrowded and to be able to walk by everywhere and watch de sunset. All the staff was very friendly and kindly. We annoying that in reception they told us we could see the stars through a telescope and was not true.

From the moment we checked in for the catamaran ride over from Cairns we were made to feel special. Our blue sticker identification separated us from the day tourists. While our room wasn't ready until 11:30 we had a chance to explore and get our snorkel equipment which was included in our room. Our room was on the 2 floor...

The Island is very beautiful and we loved the resort, nothing was too much trouble and we felt very spoilt. The island does get very busy during the day with day trippers but at 4.30pm when they all go home the island feels all yours. As a resort guest you have your own pool so you can escape the hoards...

How many times you have been lookinf for a place to get away? Green island is one of them! A tropical island in middle of Great barrier reef, a place you can enjoy at all time of the day. Snorkeling is for sure one of the best experience you can do and once you are in the water a new...

Our family of four stayed at Green Island in mid-March and has a wonderful time. This was easily the highlight of our three week Australian adventure. The island is a stunning natural paradise, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean and the food was marvellous. The guest pool is also very special - surrounded by...
