Great food. Very welcoming publican and locals. Excellent stop if heading North to the Flinders or heading south to Adelaide. We were on our way to Port Augusta after business in Adelaide. Happy coincidence that it was too early to eat in Adelaide and would have been too late at our destination, hence dinner in Snowtown. Excellent meal and service.

We arrived in Snowtown, closer to 3pm than 2pm. Phil cooked us some lunch anyway :) x Glorious top quality Fish&Chips.....a generous serve of succulent hake, fresh salad and crunchy chips.....put a smile on our faces and made our bellies very happy indeed. :))))))))

The main highway bypasses Snowtown, but if you need a room on your travels, and a darn good meal, this place is well worth stopping at. A great old hotel, with rooms upgraded for bathrooms, this is quite a comfortable place to stop. Don't expect it to be the Ritz or a Hilton .... but you can expect a good...

We stayed for a couple of days in March 2016 and was impressed by the level of comfort in the rooms and overall no-fuss hospitality. Our ensuite was very bright and clean. There are coffee/tea making facilities upstairs with seating on the terrace and a continental breakfast area downstairs as well as a bar/restaurant next to the main bar. The...

Stopped over to have lunch on a trip from Whyalla to Adelaide. A hot day outside but so cool inside and I had read an article about the chef from Hamilton Island. Meals cheap and tasty and noticed the wines in the bar fridge quite cheap. Adored the two Resident Belgium Shepherds who mingle with all the guests. They have...

Stopped here on way to broken hill. A friendly, comfortable place to stay. we had an enjoyable meal featuring local produce - lamb loin from Laura. There's a varied menu to suit all tastes. Recommend taking the slight detour off the highway to the Snowtown hotel.

This is a very unassuming pub with wonderful welcoming staff and locals. The food is amazing! I had the pork belly and fish & chips during my stay and both were delicious! The rooms have very comfy beds, clean and new clean bathrooms. Amazing! If you're driving through, definitely make time to stop, have a drink, something to eat and...

To cut a long story short, I was riding my motorcycle on a long journey and got stranded in a winter storm, late at night with nowhere to stay. I came across The Snowtown Hotel and was looked after like a family member by Phil the owner. It's rare to experience hospitality like this, and I couldn't recommend this place...
