Atura Adelaide Airport is often praised for its prime location right next to the airport, which guests find remarkably convenient for early departures. The service at this hotel is generally regarded as friendly and accommodating, although some guests have experienced challenges during check-in and with room service. While the rooms receive compliments for their sleek design and cleanliness, a few reviewers have noted them to be on the smaller side and occasionally not cleaned to their standards.
The hotel's array of amenities, including a restaurant and bar, along with efficient services, are well-received. However, opinions are divided on the value, with some guests finding the prices steep despite the added benefits of discounts and the overall cleanliness and convenience of the hotel. The atmosphere at Atura Adelaide Airport is noted for being lively and inviting, contributing to a pleasant stay for travelers.

With an evening arrival and a morning departure the next day, an overnight stay at Altura is so convenient. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The restaurant and bar are open late with a wide range of dinner options (recommend the prawn linguine). Automated checkout makes for a quick and easy departure.

Great hotel to stay at when you arrive or are heading out or have a couple of days in Adelaide. Only 50 meters from baggage claims and you’re at Reception. Adelaide airport has complimentary trolleys for your baggage.
The room was not too big or small but just enough with a king bed, small desk, wall mounted TV which swivels, coffee maker and kettle. Wine 🍷s, wine cork, mugs and spoons provided. There is a little fridge also and a small basin to wash your dishes.
The bathroom is on the small side, it has a shower, toilet and wash basin. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and soap provided, including shower cap, vanity kit and hairdryer.
The Restaurant offers a small but good menu and the Bar offers everything including good coffee. I ate the kale salad with chicken and truffle chips which were delish. For breakfast I ordered the coconut yogurt and berry bowl which was very average, only a strawberry or two cut up into small pieces and 3 blueberries with a sprinkle of muesli. There is a pantry near the Reception desk that has snacks, chocolates, ice cream, and some microwaveable dinners for sale.
Overall, I would stay here again and recommend Atura Adelaide Airport Hotel to friends and family. I usually stay at the Pullman in Adelaide which is much better than the Hilton. The customer service was excellent. Shoutout to Connor, Shaun and Anh.
I highly recommend you sign up as a member you will get some excellent perks such as room upgrade, 20% off food with beverage, and discounts on rooms.
Furthermore, if you don’t have a car there is a bus stop at the airport. A bus can take you to the city or Glenelg beach which are both about 25 minutes away. Uber isn’t too expensive either. Very convenient, indeed.
Thanks for the great stay!

Canadian couple.
We stayed overnight because of a 6:00 am flight.
We arrived early in the day and we were able to check in at 10:30 am then take an easy transfer to spend the day in Adelaide. Take the city bus for $10 all day pass. Rather than the $30 cab ride each way.
Staff at the hotel was really helpful and made for easy in and out.
Airport is less than 100 m away so you can walk with your luggage with no transfer required. You can literally leave your room 15 min before air check in time.
The hotel restaurant serves good food with varied menu at reasonable prices unlike most airport hotel.
It will cost you more to stay elsewhere with lesser room rate, because your costs in cab fare, effort and time are not worth it.
Highly recommended. Well appointed bright modern room with fridge and coffee maker.

Wow, that’s what I say about this airport hotel!
For an airport hotel this place is amazing! Its style is very industrial chic, open plan and lots of aviation related retro style artwork throughout the hotel.
Staff at reception were very friendly and proud to be working at this new hotel. They were very knowledgeable about Adelaide and all that is has to offer as well as having several staff members being able to speak other languages. This is great to have especially for an airport hotel for transiting guests.
We decided to stay at this hotel because of its direct access to the airport. Domestic/International terminals are only about 300m away if that! The hotel is part of the GHA Discovery group and as Black Level members I believe we were upgraded to a King Room with views of the runway. Some may consider the room to be on the smaller side compared to city hotels, especially if you have lots of luggage, but for an airport hotel where I guess people mainly stay overnight it was the perfect size. Looking at their website there is a variety of room sizes to choose from to suit everyone. The room was super quiet considering its proximity to the actual runway!
The room has a good size TV (49in) which was movable so you can watch it from bed, very comfortable King Bed and great quality linen, complimentary bottles of water, bathroom was a good size and the toiletries were amazing and Australian made too! I loved the fact that there was also an option to buy some of the items in the room such as the cushions, ceramic gnome in the bathroom, phone charging pad and bluetooth speaker beside the bed. I liked the idea that there was also a sink in the room so you don’t have to use the bathroom sink to fill the kettle. It was a nice touch to have a coffee pod machine as well.
Downstairs there is a bar, pool table area, relaxation area with a big TV and a restaurant. Next to reception there is a section where you can also buy some Australian made products. We didn’t get a chance to eat here as our stay was a very short one but the items on the menu looked great.
I don't say this very often about airport hotels, but I'm looking forward to staying here again!

Such convenience for a morning flight! We drove up to the front where the lovely receptionist said we could check in (early) and also park (for 30 min); so we could bring our luggage to our room and freshen up a little. Airport trolleys were even provided for our use! Then it was off to have more fun in Adelaide. At night, we dropped off our rental car at the airport rental area. And it was a short stroll to our hotel, where there is a lounge and bar for those who still needed more fun.
The next morning, it was another short stroll to the departure hall with even enough time for some breakfast.
The room was rather small, as to be expected. However, we had enough space for our needs ( Forewarned, we had organised our luggage the night before). More important - No worries; no hassle before flying off in the morning.

We stayed here the night before we drove to Kangaroo Island, we were supposed to travel to Adelaide by train, but our train got cancelled so we figured, what the heck, we will go anyway.
The hotel was chosen because we were flying in and we were supposed to be picking up an off airport hire car the next day, so not a lot of thought went into it at all, it was all about location.
Very convenient location right next door to the airport, don’t even need to go outside. Walk directly from arrivals to reception.
While the décor might not be to everyone’s taste it was definitely different. Lots of concrete and all the furniture both in the rooms and in reception is very “simplistic” but we found it to be very nice.
Reception was friendly and we were directed to our room on the 3rd floor. On arrival, the simplistic furniture was a standout, but we thought it was quite tasteful. The room, although on the small side, was furnished is such a way to make the most of the space and it was comfortable and spacious enough. We initially thought it was a bit odd to have the bed under the window, which made it hard to close the blinds, but we later discovered that there was an additional blind behind the curtains that you could put down as well as closing the curtains.
Both of us like watching planes and we sat there watching the planes take off and land in between having a meal and a sleep.
We ate downstairs in the restaurant and when I asked for a menu the girls politely pointed me to a QR code where I could find a copy on line. I thought that was good as I did not have to handle a menu that lots of people had put their grubby mits on before me. Another nice touch was on the table there was a little sign to say the table had been cleaned, and you simply turn it over to tell them it needs cleaning, novel but effective. The meal was excellent and the beer was cold. What else do I need.
We did not find the aircraft noise loud at all, in fact you could hardly hear it.
We will definitely stay again if we need to fly out of Adelaide again.

We have stayed at the Atura several times in the past when travelling overseas without a problem. The hotel is very convenient with adjacent long term car parking. This time we encountered a few problems. We live 450 kms away so with Covid testing on the Sunday morning we had to travel up and stayed a Saturday night and paid for a second night for a late checkout at 7 pm which cost us an additional $252 for no service whatsoever. We left our room mid morning and returned at 2pm and the room wasn’t serviced. I spoke to housekeeping staff who were still on our floor of the hotel. I was told that she would look into it. By 4pm we had no response from anybody so I put the do not disturb sign on the door so that we could have a shower and pack ready for checkout to travel to Greece. Really the only thing we really needed was clean towels, tea, coffee and milk.
When checking out I left a note at reception re poor service to be passed on to someone with authority with my contact email address in Greece. After several days with no response I sent an email to the Duty Manager and eventually received a reply blaming the house keeping staff for lack of communication between each other. I was offered an upgraded room and 2 free drinks on our return stay, which I sent a note of appreciation.
Returning from overseas the bar was closed, but staff were there and refused to pour 2 glasses of wine for us to take back to our room. So we were not beaten we had 2 glasses of wine at 9am next morning before checking out.
Things got worse when we came home. On checking my credit card transactions for the last 4 weeks, I noticed we were charged twice for our return stay. On contacting the hotel I received a refund and apology after a week.
Due to the convenient location we will stay there again in September / October when we travel overseas again, hoping that all will be okay this time.

Not only did the staff manage to mess up the drink order (2 glasses of wine) and only 1 came out. Following this i ordered the flathead fish. There was only 1 piece of flat head and the other two pieces were completely different fish and was clearly frozen futhermore chips were cold and soggy. This was incredibly disspoitning for $28.
My partner selected the gluten free chips as stated as an option on the menu. The waitress then returned saying the chips may contain gluten! How do you advertise this as gluten free if it may contain gluten?!?
I would give the restaurant 0 stars due to the whole experience as when we asked for the bill we were charged for a bottle of wine instead of the 2 glasses (additional $50).
The 2 stars is for the accommodation as this was the only thing that was worthy of a star rating.

What a gem this place is. We stayed here last night after flying into Adelaide from Darwin. We stayed in a Atura King room which is advertised as $127 per night. The room looks just like the picture on their website. The room is very modern and clean, the king size bed is incredibly comfortable and at night with the curtains drawn the room is pitch black. Not once did we hear any outside noise. Excellent water pressure in the shower. I would highly recommend the Autra we would certainly come back again. For the price, this is so much better than anything in Darwin by a mile.

We needed a location near the airport for a fly-in/fly-out night of festivities (Fatboy Slim gig on Glenelg Beach). This hotel was the perfect place as we had no need to go into the city. The hotel is literally connected to the airport, so it was a breeze getting there, and leaving after checking out.
The hotel isn't exactly a 'destination' by itself, but it hands down does a great job of offering an above average place to eat, sleep, rave, repeat :). Room/amenities were more than adequate for a one night stay (loved the cute Bluetooth speaker and coffee maker!), and the bed was super comfy. Staff were friendly, if a little casual.
Overall, the hotel's modern chic furnishing's won't be to everyone's taste, but given the average visitor won't be there more than 24hours, the facilities on offer will be more than adequate.
