Peppers Waymouth Adelaide boasts a prime central location, much to the delight of many guests who appreciate its closeness to the CBD and various attractions. The hotel's rooms receive accolades for their spaciousness and modern comforts, although opinions on value are mixed, with some concerns about extra costs. The atmosphere is often described as stylish and luxurious, with a nod to the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance.
Amenities like the heated pool and gym are popular, though some guests missed bathrobes and free coffee pods. Service is largely commended for its friendliness and efficiency, despite occasional lapses.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is located conveniently in Adelaide CBD, we found everything we needed was within walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good, however I believe they could of benefited from another staff member to help with cleaning the tables and assisting guests, I also found this with reception at times they would of benefited from one more staff member. The pool, sauna and gym were also all clean.
Overall this was a lovely hotel and if we were to visit Adelaide again we would stay here.

We booked a suite which was clean, comfortable with most things you need for a city stay. An easy walk down to the river, the restaurants and shopping.
The room had a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. The bathroom and bedroom were separated by a glass wall which you could cover by use of a vertical blind. Rather difficult to put the manual blind down.
There is a bar restaurant on the ground floor serving a good choice of well prepared food. If you are a member of Accor loyalty you can get discount on food prices
Breakfast was buffet style
The staff were all friendl,y and helpful. Shout out to the afternoon concierge who was very helpful in giving us directions around the town.

Stayed 4 nights in a deluxe room very spacious and comfortable, no turn down service at night but not a problem for us, breakfast was buffet style not great selection but adequate to start the day.
The location is ideal for the centre of Adelaide one block to trams and all the shops, would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice room but the TV in the sitting area did not work, the wifi kept dropping out, there was no bedside power outlet and there was no complimentary water.
On checkout I returned the "free" drink vouchers and said I had used two bottles of water in the room. The clerk said that was OK but later I received an unexplained late charge on my credit card with no invoice (even though that is in my Accor profile).
Best service came from the doorman / valet parking attendant.

We are so happy to leave Peppers Waymouth Hotel, Adelaide, but this is because it is the end of our quarantine, not any reflection on the hotel. We were dreading our time in quarantine; the stories from others in in similar situations around the country, and in particular Melbourne, had us greatly concerned.
Peppers is the exact opposite to the horror stories. It started with a personal greeting upon arrival (whilst still on the bus) by Victor, the General Manage. He spoke of his hotel and staff doing the very best they could to help us through the next two weeks.
AND THEY DID.
Peppers have worked so hard to make this experience the best it could be. The staff have been very accommodating and cheerful and every call to reception was met with an upbeat greeting. They have communicated with us in a timely and positive manner. They set up and manage a closed Facebook group for all in quarantine in the hotel, keeping us updated with news, daily menus etc. and to assist us in not feeling isolated. A huge thank you to the chef and the kitchen. The food has been well beyond our expectations…. healthy, high quality and varied. The Sunday pizza and popcorn nights were much appreciated. Paper based activities, such as crosswords, Sudoku etc were regularly dropped at our door. We also understand that rooms with the children had extra activities and support. Very impressed.
We have experienced hotels in the Peppers group previosuly and the rooms are up to their usual high standard. Immaculately clean, contemporary décor and well designed. The location is in the heart of the city and if we were able to leave our rooms to take advantage of its central position we would have appreciated it…. As it was, we had to settle for watching others enjoying the city 😊
When we return to Adelaide we will definitely stay at this wonderful hotel.

My husband and I travelled from Melbourne to stay at Peppers, we often use Peppers as our first choice on interstate travels as it normally would give us a 5 star service.
However I had contacted reception to let them know our we needed to extend our check out time and we told originally on booking I would need to pay an hourly rate as long as the room wasn’t booked.
We then arrived and approached reception again and was answers with a flat out No we don’t have that option , and the staff at reception didn’t allow any flexible alternative options to assist is, apart from paying another full night Accomodation with no discount at all!!! ( we were only asking for a few extra hours) The guy was actually rude to my husband.
We stayed in a Penthouse suite which is a higher priced room and we expected quality customer service, apart from the sparkling water and fruit on arrival which we really appreciated and they did end up offering an extended stay when a new staff member arrived on her shift and I thought I’d ask again, I honestly think twice about spending time or money at this hotel.
Peppers you guys let us down this time.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Stayed in a deluxe room with a tiny corner balcony (barely 1 person could fit in the area), lots of nice big windows with blockout curtains.
Sad to say cleanliness was not great, I found a long black hair by the bed pillow, another 2 on the bathroom floor, and another one stuck to the shower wall (ick!).
The throw cushion on the bed had a white stain on the back of it, I hate to think what that was!
Bathroom was spacious and will equipped the water pressure in the shower & the water temp was fantastic.
Air conditioning wasn't effective, with the sun on the windows most of the day, it took a long time to cool the room, and the high fan option had to be used which was very noisy at that level.
The walls are thin, I asked for a quiet room, which I got, however that joy was shortlived as the person's bed in the adjacent room backed onto where my bed was and the snoring was REALLY loud! So wished there was better insulation in the wall.
The spa and pool were adequate, though spotted another hair on the floor by the spa, not sure why the cleaners keep missing stray hairs everywhere? The male cleaners came in and cleaned the pool area while I was there, I was alone, as it was a little confronting having 2 men cleaning there while I was there in my bathers, I'd rather they came back after I left.
Breakfast was not my ideal, I waited over 10 mins to be seated, and the tables hadn't been cleared. Whilst it was a good buffet selection, you had to pay for a freshly made coffee, they had a self serve coffee machine which was not my standard. I had a special order for eggs the way I like (only scrambled was on offer) and it took at least 25 mins. I asked before this if they were ready, but I think they just forgot to put them on. Staff here really need to be more attentive.
The hotels location is perfect for the city, close to the Central Market, and a tram stop away from Rundle Mall.

Stayed in a Deluxe Room for 4 nights and loved it. We were in a corner room of the 13th floor and even though it got warm as it was hit by the sun in the morning (nothing that can’t be fixed with air conditioning), it was still a lovely large room with a very generous sized bathroom and small balcony. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and assisted in getting us checked in as soon as possible. The indoor pool is quite large, and also available is a spa, sauna and gym. The restaurant has delicious food and you can charge direct to your room. The location of the hotel is great. Close to tram and bus stops and less than 10 min walk to the train station. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Like many of the other reviewers here, I stayed at Peppers Waymouth as part of my quarantine on returning to Australia. In brief, this was a FANTASTIC place to stay and I can't fully express my gratitude to the staff and administration at Peppers who have gone out of their way to take such good care of the quarantine guests. The rooms were spacious, modern, and well equipped, and had great views of the Adelaide CBD. Although it was a fixed daily menu, the food we received was excellent quality and the chefs went out of their way to ensure that we have a wide variety of food over the two week period. All requests to the concierge were addressed promptly and flawlessly. There was great WIFI that coped with the load of an at capacity hotel filled with trapped guests streaming Netflix all day. In closing, I think it says a lot about an establishment when they deliver the highest quality of service when they really could have just done the bare minimum - we were guaranteed business who did not choose to go there, and the average level of care in other quarantine hotels has been far lower than what we have experienced here at Peppers. When I return again to Adelaide, I will definitely, definitely choose to stay here again.
