Looks tired, but is just a proud old home that is now a quiet, very welcoming and peaceful place to stay. Mein hosts, Andrew and David, are very gentlemanly, The atmosphere is almost Victorian grace, building looks tired, but that's a graceful 'tired'. We had the room immediately inside the front door, was a little noisy at times, but with 10...

Stayed here a couple of nights in the upstairs rooms. Comfy and good value for money, could definitely do with some tlc though with the exterior peeling paint. Good location with the free city bus stop just up the road and cafes and restaurants around the corner.

Rooms are basic but reasonably comfortable--could use a new mattress... We found it very convenient for exploring the city, as the FREE tram to downtown is only steps away. O'Connell Street is 5 minutes walk and has many restaurants, shops and a couple of pubs. Free wifi and decent continental breakfast, only instant coffee though.

I arrived in Adelaide without a booking and plenty to do on day 1 so a hotel was simply required for a sleep over. With a conference in town, Hotel prices were at a premium and Princess Lodge stood out like a beacon. Good reviews, great price and that was exactly what it was. Far from the St Moritz, it...

Andrew and David were fantastic. My room was ideal and had everything I needed. The walk to the CBD is not a 30 min walk, closer to 45min. But is a 10 min walk to Princes highway and lots of pubs. Has a good breakfast with variety.

A place with character and charm. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was hardy and basic. The rooms were a bit dated but fit in with the character of the house and style. A great location that was quiet and was close to downtown.

Take a step back in time with this impressive home. Modern conveniences, breakfast included, in a great location for a steal of a price. Really helpful staff and able to accommodate various requests before arrival and fast at replying to emails!

The Princes Lodge Motel is a small motel in North Adelaide. Most rooms are in the former mansion, with a few in the rear coach house. It does not aspire to be an upscale, modern property. But owners Andrew & David are on-site and provided consistently friendly service. Rates include a self-serve continental breakfast, WiFi, and parking; there's also a...

This is not a modern, crisp establishment, it has "old world charm" great location, comfortable and clean rooms with ensuite, flat screenTV, free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, a coffee plunger! Yea! and air con. The room was a bit worn, as unfortunately were the fly screens, beware mozzies or close the windows. The Queen size bed was comfortable,...
