We booked this because of such good reviews and are so happy we did! The b and b is out of town and you do feel a little like you're on an industrial estate as there are trucks around and no people! But the house and b and b is fabulous. You have the room to yourself and it is...

Thank you to Rose and Alex for a very memorable Christmas. We stayed at 'Down to Erth' for 2 nights on or way up to Uluru and it is certainly one of the most unique properties we have ever stayed in. Rose and Alex have thought of everything and are fantastic hosts, going out of their way to make you...

We stayed in down the earth B&B in december during our road trip Uluru. Rose and Alex are the BEST host anyone could ask for; such genuinely lovely people. They were extremely welcoming right from the beginning, accommodation was beautifully prepared, and they also recommended really wonderful places to visit. We had the best time in Cooper Pedy and really...

I stayed here in December 2012 with my wife and her family visiting from China. Rose and Alex made us feel so welcome. They showed us through their new house and took the time to explain a little about opals and noodling for them. Our visitors were very impressed at how friendly Rose and Alex were. We highly recommend Down...

We took two nights out from a busy period and felt like we'd had a decent holiday by the time we got back. The accommodation was great, the 'small touches' appreciated. Rose's veggie patch was an inspiration. We bought our own food in town, cooked our meals on the BBQ and relaxed by reading out in the courtyard. Wonderful!! During...

What a find this place was! Rose and Alex are the owners and have done a fabulous job with this 2 bed stay 10 metres underground. Well appointed, nothing is left out and you feel like you are in your own home. We did not want to leave as I am sure so many others have also thought! Kitted out...

Rose and Alec are most welcoming, relaxed people. Alec has dug the accomodation himself which is an amazing job, and Rose loves looking after the place and the guests, many thoughtful attentions all along (home-made fruit compote in the fridge, chocolate and wine, tasty decoration, sieves and shovel available to go opal noodling). The pool and barbecue area is great...

What a terrific place! Comfortable, spotless, and wonderful facilities - the little touches like the wine and chocolates, the teddy bear on the bed, selection of games, laundry facilities, scrumptious breakfast - was just fantastic! Rose and Alex were terrific hosts - warm and friendly, and able to give us plenty of help with planning what to do and see...

I even had a teddy bear on my bed. As my trip was for work that made it very welcoming and less clinical than a motel room. The dried fruit compote for breakfast was divine and Rose gave me the recipe. How good is that. Highly recommended.
