We stayed here on route North. We liked they it was a bit out of the bustle of the town and positioned overlooking a luna landscape of both old and functioning mines. We awoke to a gorgeous sunrise and spectacular view. Our hosts Rose and Alex provided all the comforts needed to make our stay good. Make sure you watch...

What a special place. Close enough to pop into town for a meal(2 minute drive). Great stock of food for breakfast. Good wifi and amenities. Rose was super friendly and very accommodating when we had to shorten our stay by one night. All one could ask for...staying underground really captured a crucial aspect of life in this area. Not to...

This 2 bedroom apartment was a wonderful place to stay. We only regret that we couldn't stay longer! Rose took great care of us, and her help was much appreciated! The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast and snacks, and the private apartment underground was a fun alternative to a hotel. We we there in winter so didn't take advantage...

We stayed here 1 night passing through back from uluru. What a great place! Rose was very welcoming. Facilities were fantastic and we had a very comfy nights sleep. Breakfast was substantial and good quality ingredients. Well worth the experience staying in an underground hotel! Thank you!

On a 3 week odyssey of Central and Eastern Australia, this was our favorite place we stayed. Close to Coober Pedy (about 5 mins drive), it may be the closest we've come to experiencing total quiet at night! And who knew there were so many stars in the night sky ...!? Rose and Alex were great and we wanted for...

Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly and helpful Rose. We were soon very comfortable in our underground 'home'. Attention to detail was evident in every nook and cranny. A great experience for the family.

What a treat! This B&B is so special. We had our own cave apartment with all the comfort and character. From the outside it's the barren desert because this place is five minutes drive from Coober Pedy, however once inside the apartment it feels like home on one hand, unique and wonderful on the other. We were only there only...

The amazing Down to Erth B&B, and hosts Alex & Rose, were our wonderfully warm welcome to Coober Pedy! After 8 hours on the road, to arrive in Coober Pedy late afternoon & witness the remarkable scenery and changing colours was spectacular enough, but to then discover the underground gem that was our accommodation was simply amazing. Alex's attention to...

We were treated extremely well by Alex and Rose with nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was great with a well stocked kitchen for breakfast. Very close to town I doubt there would be better value in Coober Pedy.
