Our family, two adult couples, really enjoyed our stay. Our two bedroom accommodation was comfortable, but slightly spoiled by a bathroom door which could not be closed. Loved being underground, loved the quiet plus even temperature.

This venue was a great place for a 4 night stay with underground rooms but with a door and windows to the outside to let the light in. The rooms were large with a king size bed, comfortable lounge and chairs, TV and DVD, free wifi, full hotplates with oven as well as microwave, and extremely helpful and friendly managers.

We visited Coober Pedy mid July 2016 and were lucky enough to book an 8 bed apartment on a Saturday night at the Desert View Apartments. The owners could not have been more accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Tony and Linda were efficient, friendly and informative. Highly recommended. Clean, safe and value for money.

We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly people at the check in. Apartment had everything we needed, including washing machine. Bed rooms were large & comfortable, had a small lounge room with TV, fully equipped kitchen. we cooked our own meals while there.

Fourth time around, an we are just as sold on Desert View Apartments as we were the previous three visits. The apartments are huge, boasting a fully equipped kitchen, no pokey little motel sized refrigerator, full sized kitchen stove, everything one could ask for in a kitchen/ dining area. large lounge area and this week's s visit, the outside temp....

Room is basic - but with everything you need - and the wonderous added bonus of a king size comfy bed in the adult bedroom. The owners could not do enough to help us. Was warm in winter. Helpful suggestions as to where to go, what to do and where to eat.

Tony and Linda were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a very spacious two bedroom underground apartment. It could do with an update but we loved the retro feel. The kitchen lacked nothing. We only stayed one night but this would be a great place if you were in Coober Pedy longer. Lovely outdoor area to catch the last...

Stayed a couple of nights in these underground apartments and can honestly say they're great value for money. Two big bedrooms, lounge, bathroom and kitchen area. Had a truly fantastic nights sleep as it's so quiet! The temperature underground is pretty constant too so even if it's pouring with rain and freezing outside (it was!) you don't know a thing...

Stayed two nights but wishing it was longer.....a lot longer. We stayed in a two bedroom dugout, plenty of comfortable beds, great kitchen with large fridge, microwave, kettle, plates, table with chairs etc. etc. A large lounge with two lounges a table and flat screen TV. Parts of the walls are left natural so you can appreciate where you are....

Others have said it all, no hesitation in recommending. We meant to stay 1 night, stayed 2 and wished we had stayed three. Very spacious, clean, well equipped, competitively priced. And the cave experience will stay with us a long time! Tony also a source of lots of local information. Thanks
