We spent a week in the Garden villa in Jan 2016 with our three children (8, 7 and 5years old). The villa was clean, well equipped and very comfortable including dishwasher, washing machine, which are very useful when travelling with children. Frank was also very welcoming and helpful with useful hints and tips on car hire, places to visit etc...

We stayed as a group of 4 couples and with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms & lovely open plan living we had a wonderful 4 night/3 day stay. Frank met us on arrival and showed us around & how everything worked and told us to help ourselves to the limes & herbs in the garden. We ate in for breakfasts...

We recently spent 3 nights in the larger of Frank's KI Garden Cottages. A beautifully modern house with 4 bedrooms and two large bathrooms, and a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living room. Washer/dryer (bonus!), no WiFi, well-supplied kitchen (though no food supplies, so be sure to get your groceries before the shops close), and the showers had fantastic water pressure! Although we...

Frank was a wonderful host and went beyond his way to make my first trip to Kangaroo Island a very memorable one! I traveled with a big group of 7 at the end of November and he was very warm and welcoming, checking on us and being ever so patient as we only arrived late in the evening (as one...

Thank you Ashley for your review. As always, it is a pleasure to meet people who are appreciative of both the island and of our cottages. We don't always know what impact we have with the people we meet, so it is gratifying to receive your praise Thank you so much Frank

Great spot to stay when visiting Kangaroo Island. We stayed in the rear two storey cottage at the end of February 2016 and loved it. All the modern conveniences you could wish for. No running out of hot water here! Modern well equipped place with a great layout. The beach and walking track into Kingscote is only across the road...

Everything about the cottages was nice. They are well equipped and pleasant. The only suggestion I could offer is for Frank to be more observant of others privacy. During the stay, he popped over once soon after we had arrived which was OK as he offered some great advice on places to go and see. Frank then arrived back on...

We stayed at Kangaroo Island Garden Cottages for four nights 22 – 26 September as part of an extended break in Australia. The owner Frank welcomed us when we first arrived and was very helpful in making recommendations for walks, places to eat, and other activities. The house has plenty of space, and is extremely well laid out and equipped....

Have been there twice now (thanks is to our friends for organising it). Very clean, tidy, easy to settle into. Lovely rambling veggie garden out back, plenty of space to share ( we were in the large villa). A little noisy due to the open pla nature of the upstairs rooms. Really enjoyed our breakfasts on the front porch. Thanks!

We booked to stay in one of the two cottages for 4 nights. Spacious accommodation with air conditioning (although we needed to set it to heat the property on the first night!) Large comfortable beds, although I did object to sharing my side with a dead Huntsman spider! Free on-site parking and large garden with mature trees, shrubs and birds...

Dear Patty, Thank you for your review of our Garden Cottage. We are sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory. We do endeavour to present the cottages in a spotless condition, however on this occasion we have obviously not achieved that standard. We have taken your comments seriously, and should we have the pleasure of your company...
