I stayed in the servants quarters for one night. The breakfast was great, the hosts generous and everything was incredibly well decorated. The location is very peaceful, a great place to catch your breath and enjoy all the decorations and beautiful gardens around you. Also, it is a short walk to the town centre.

We stayed at 2 on 2 in the Mansion as we are a family of 6. What a wonderful 3 days! Wilmer and Matthew, the owners, have gone to extra lengths with this accommodation in a way that offers the comfort and facilities that are lacking in hotels. Our home from home had all mod-cons required as well as a...

We stayed for two nights and were very comfortable. The bed was excellent ( firm mattress which we prefer) and the one day breakfast provisions more than covered our two days. The property (Gardeners Cottage) was beautifully restored, retaining many features which would have been present in the original building, whilst finding hidden room for washing machine, tumble drier, superb...

Matthew and Willmar have created a unique and welcoming environment from which to stage your Hobart travel experience. We adored the gardens and all the upgrades to the cottages, from washer and dryer ensuite, to the big tub and bubble baths. Breakfast from the first day actually lasted three with fresh fruit, yogurts, coffee and tea supplies, and a selection...

Well I think I have landed in paradise! Simply the most wonderful property I have stayed in my 40 years of travelling the world. The gardens, stunningly decorated and blissfully quiet accommodation and the nicest host you could ask for all make for the BEST place to stay in Hobart. Forget the Trip Adviser Number 1 place (they are tacky...

I took my mother to Hobart for her 84th birthday. We stayed in the Servants Quarters at Corinda's Cottages. The cottage itself was absolutely divine. The attention to detail, the way the original feeling was kept in the cottage, whilst having a lavish bathroom, fully functioning kitchen. It shows that Wilmar and Matthew, the owners, have put in lots of...

Excellent location in the centre of city. 10 min walk downhill. $8.00 trip uphill by taxi!!! Cosy cabin with all amenities. It was very cold and we loved the fireplace, and gardens. A little haven in the centre of a capital city.

First time to Tasmania and these cottages were recommended to us by a friend. We couldn't have wished for more. We originally booked for seven nights and then extended for three more. We stayed in both cottages, whilst the Garden cotter is a bit bigger, both were beautifully set out and we would recommend either. Both have staircases to the...

Every single detail was thought of. Even the garden is a work of art. The heritage cottage we were in was very clean and full of period furniture. The owner very friendly and it was like being back in the 19th century, but with modern facilities. If you can, do not miss this great place, it's really worth it. If...

We enjoyed five fantastic days in "the big one" Spacious and luxuriously appointed, the house offered a wonderful base for our stay in Hobart. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful garden and appreciated the many extras provided by our hosts. Tired after travelling, it was fantastic to find a well stocked pantry and breakfast requirements for the first morning. We hope...
