A lovely house from the outside. Inside a different story. Our room was small with a small wardrobe and three coat hangers. The carpet was filthy like the carpets in the rest of the hotel. Complained to management and their response was we where being unreasonable to complain and we want you to go. This was difficult as it was...

Beautiful old manor but with peeling paint, dirty carpets and basic facilities. Noisy plumbing, no face washers, very thin toilet paper. Very basic breakfast. Better to stay in a decent hotel. Situated on main road. Noisy traffic.

Had not researched accomadation before arrival, so thought we were arriving at a small B&B a short drive from Hobart center. First impression was what a lovely old house, second "oh no, it's on the main road". I was concerned the traffic could be a problem, but the road noise was muted and not an issue. I had asked for...

This property is close to city and Wrest Point Casino. It is tired and needs some extra care. The room was small and there is limited lounge area for guest. There was no laundry facilities available although it was advertised that were. The breakfast was adequate but exactly the same choices each day, and the home made bread seemed to...

B&B in a beautiful old house promises a lot but not quite delivering. It was restored quite some time ago, with the rooms requiring refurbishment asap. Peeling paint, old furniture, worn carpets, cracked mirrors all detract from a property with history and character ... What did redeem the property is the high standard of service by the morning breakfast crew,...

A beautiful house in a perfect location. Directly opposite Wrest Point Casino where we were fortunate enough to dine at the Revolving Restaurant on Level 14 without a prior booking. Serendipity. But the house itself was very much to my taste. Lovely art in a Victorian furnished retreat. A comfortable bed in a room overlooking the garden. The spa was...

The location is good, but a bit far to walk to the waterfront, and the staff are very pleasant. As others have mentioned however you will only see the staff at breakfast time. Breakfast is supplied and basic but acceptable. The premises themselves were a bit run down, worn and stained carpets, our room had peeling ceiling paint, obvious evidence...

This is a wonderful restored period property. It has a special ambience I found much better than a hotel room. The staff are friendly and efficient; never in the way but there when you need them. The continental breakfast choice is limited but you know this before you select the property and make a booking. I was more than happy...

Having decided to take a short break in Hobart, we booked the self-contained apartment as I have food allergies which makes it difficult to eat out, so this seemed a good option. There are no staff on duty when you arrive so you have to let yourself in. We opened the door to the apartment to be greeted by a...
