on arrival 4/9/14 my husband and I were greeted by Christine and what a lovely lady. Professional but friendly. We were upgraded - which NEVER happens to us. The house, rooms, lounge, dining and surrounds are just beautiful. Clean and well presented. We stayed 3 nights and wish it was 3 weeks. As we told friends "it was like living...

We stayed for 3 nights. Room 101 is excellent. Adjacent to the lounge area which is full of surprises, including Complimentary port, cashews and fudge, along with an excellent range of teas and "real" coffee. A truly luxurious experience for the discerning person. The rooms are very spacious, and the ambience is excellent. Freshly cooked breakfasts are delicious and the...

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with all factors. Comfy bed, lovely staff, yummy breakfast, location, and quiet/private. Although there were others it seemed like we had the whole floor to ourselves. We only saw others at breakfast which was so delicious.

Me & my partner came down from Launceston for a night's getaway and what a better place to stay than here! Got an awesome deal in a honeymoon suite with a spa bath, breakfast included and free parking & Wi-Fi. Complimentary port and fudge in the lounge area was a very nice bonus. Also liked the idea of the honesty...

We were delighted with our stay at Gattonside, a beautiful National Trust listed building. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The room (5) was very clean and tidy and the spa very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and the cook very accommodating in varying the menu to suit. We have stayed in many places in hobart and agree...

We were generously upgraded from an apartment to this heritage accommodation so that our request for early access could be met. The staff were most gracious, considerate and generous in every aspect of our visit -the upgrade, the willingness to oblige us inside/outside with photography, the invitation to our daughter to join us in a complimentary cooked breakfast (which was...

A beautifully restored and maintained heritage property and Ideally located within easy walking distance of Battery point and The hobart waterfront. Impossible not to enjoy the breakfast room and the fare presented with passion by Annie. A great way to start the day. Will be back.

My sister and I stayed for one night in May this year and I can't speak highly enough of the service we received. Between booking over the phone with Bridie to arriving early and having the wonderful Lilly look after us, to sitting down and enjoying Annie’s superbly cooked scrambled eggs in the sunny breakfast room the next morning, everyone...

We had a long weekend planned to Hobart in autumn and chose this lovely B&B because it was close to everything we wanted to experience. It was the best place for us in that regard as we opted to be located within easy walking distance and did not want to hire a car. We were not disappointed with its location...
