Let me start with the good points John is indeed very friendly and met us as son as we arrived. We were in room 6 and as there were only the 2 of us this was one of the biggest rooms I have stayed in, with a double bed and single bed in our room and then in an annex...

This bed and breakfast is in a central location which provided older style rooms which were very comfortable with nice furnishings. The host was very welcoming and friendly, he showed us to our room and explained how everything worked. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and ample with many choices, and the jams and spreads provided were excellent. The kitchen...

We stayed here for 7days. It is a 100 yr old house. It has shared bathroom/toilet facilities which is not a problem. Breakfast is make your own with a fully stocked kitchen with everything and for everybody's intolerances. Greatly surprised. Close to wharf & Salamanca markets which is a mere 10min walk. The main strip of shops in the Elizabeth...

The Edinburgh Gallery Bed and Breakfast in Hobart is more than just another B&B, with its interior decoration closer to the European pensions or boutique hotels. The atmosphere is nice, but the old and well decorated building has the disadvantage that you need to carry luggage on the stairs if you are not lodged at the ground level. The location...

There’s a very laid back feel to the Edinburgh Gallery, exemplified by the owner joining his guests for breakfast and occasionally pottering about to ensure all is running smoothly (as it always seems to). On the subject of breakfast, this is simple but satisfying and includes some good breads and spreads. Our room was very spacious indeed, with a comfortable...

We arrived late (10:30PM) but the host was still smiling and very nice. There even were cookies and fruits for free if you were willing too! The room was very clean and nicely decorated and the facilities are perfect. Breakfast was good too with varieties in what you could have.

It's a beautiful and well maintained century old building. I booked a family room with attached bathroom. Beds are equipped with electric mattress padding as it can get very cold in the night. Common pantry is well stocked with 3 types of bread, instant noodles, home made jams and beverages (juice, milk, coffee & tea). The owner is a very...

We stayed here 4 nights on our first trip to Tasmania and were happy with our choice to stay here rather than a hotel because of the comfort and convenience of this place. We stayed in room #1 which is on the main floor and has a queen size bed and a twin and a bathroom with a shower bath....
