Booked a ground floor double room with garden view, this was front of building facing busy Sandy Bay road. Road noise was dramatically reduced via double glazing of sorts on windows, noise barely perceptible. However the room was right next to main entrance door & you can be disturbed by opening/closing of this door when other guests are leaving etc....

We stayed in Suite 1 on the ground floor for 4 nights. It is an old style manor built in 1880 & converted into 6 bedrooms hotel. Even though our room was facing the street, it was still quiet. The room was spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed & had everything you need except there was no safe box....

My husband and I stayed for three nights recently at the beautiful Clydesdale Manor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Edwardian architecture is delightful and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Our double room with ensuite bathroom, despite being at the front of the building, which faces the busy Sandy Bay Road, was very quiet, due to double glazing, and we...

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was perfect for our little getaway. Continental brekky was lovely and daily hot items were superb. Max 10min walk to everything in Hobart, supermarket right around the corner. 10/10 would stay again

Stayed overnight here. The rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. Despite being on a busy road the rooms are quite and the curtains ensure a nice dark room. The bathroom is modern with heated floor and good quality towels. Breakfast is served in the dining room - good basic continental plus a poached egg and avocado. There is off...

Nice silent place - with great hot cooked breakfast (different for the 2 days we stayed), with parking lots The only drawback is that there is no frontdesk, if you have anything, you can only call the phone no (to GM ).

This is a beautiful and well appointed place to stay in Hobart. We loved the old world charm that mixed perfectly with the modern conveniences. We enjoyed the attention to detail in this clean and comfortable room. The heated floor in the bathroom to name just one! Although we didn't lounge in the communal lounge we sampled the fudge...thank you....

This Georgian boutique hotel is beautiful; complete with a lovely garden to view from the sunny breakfast room. Each space is beautifully decorated from the crystal chandelier in the foyer to the carefully selected antique furniture that enhances each room. We have the best of both worlds as bathrooms are completely modern and internet is speedy. It is spotless! We've...
