On a recent visit to our son and his family in Melbourne, we took our seven year old grandson for a four day stay at this amazing property. Having been born and brought up in the city, he had never had a taste of life in the country before, so this was an experience he will never forget. Right from...

We had a wonderful 3D2N stay at Laurimar Glen Farmstay. Eric kindly received us at Kyneton Railway Station (we had opted not to drive) and took us to a nearby supermarket to get our groceries before heading to the farm. We realized we ran out of food on Day 2 and Eric once again accommodated us and took us back...

My granddaughter and I had a trip away in the Summer school holidays. We chose a farm stay to give her hands on animal experiences. Janet and Eric did their utmost to ensure our stay was as wonderful as possible. We had an amazing time be farm hands, hand feeding, llama, deer, pigs, goats, shetland pony etc. The cottage was comfortable...

Wonderful place to stay with beautiful people - Janet and Eric are fantastic hosts what they don't know about Kyneton or animals isn't worth knowing. Very relaxed atmosphere and beautiful for us "city folk" to experience. Took the kids 12 and 10 years for a 3 night stay woke to gorgeous sunrises, paddocks with llama and deer almost at your...

This was an amazing three days with our two Granddaughter's! Farmer Eric and his lovely wife Jan were the most gracious hosts. The girls 3 & 5 had so much enjoyment from all the animals. Every evening Farmer Eric took them to feed all the animals on the back of the tractor in a little trailer! There were eggs to...

Our second stay in Glen Cottage in November 2015 was just as good as our first one just over a year ago. Eric and Jan are extremely generous with their time, and made sure the accommodation was again beautifully presented. Our 5 year old son had the best time on the farm and each morning would sit at the breakfast...

We stayed in the Quinn cottage for only 1 night. This is way too short and you will want to stay at least 3 days in this lovingly maintained cottage that was built in the 1870s. 2 bedrooms and a separate toilet and shower, it has retained an old world charm that is further enhanced by Janet's little trinkets all...

We stayed in Glen Cottage for 2 nights in December with our 4 year old son. The accommodation was great: the large deck and verandah around 3 sides of the cottage meant we never needed the aircon despite the hot weather, and we could sit in the shade, relax and watch our son play on the swings or in the...

Our stay at the farm was for two days, and we really wished we stayed longer at this lovely place. It provided a much-appreciated break from the hectic traveling we did in melbourne city. Eric and Janet were very thoughtful hosts, as proven from their numerous nice gestures such as picking us up from the train station and offering to...
