Booked here via booking.com the same day as we wanted to stay. Easy and affordable. Staff were so friendly. Family room with en suite bathroom was spacious and beautiful. If you wanted to socialise, there was plenty going on; if not, privacy was available too. Free breakfast was basic, but plentiful and access to kitchen was available with ease too....

Comes at a good price in a really great spot, adjacent tram has a route covering most destinations. Very casual atmosphere, no saccharine commercial vibe. Highly recommended if looking for something different from the typical bustling city hostel.

Close to downtown and southern crossing station! Free breakfast free tea and coffee throughout the day free pasta and rice as well! When i first got here i was surprised by its size-- its the far biggest hostel i have been to-- and was worried it might not be clean. But it was pleasantly clean. The room smelled funky but...

Good sized rooms, friendly and helpful staff, kitchen is slightly packed at times but there's always clean cutlery and dishes. Free breakfast and tea and coffee, showers and bathroom always clean, little anti social, there seems to be clichés, not the easiest place to meet people, right beside a service station and less than 10 min walk to the city....

This was really my first time staying in a hostel and it was totally cool. The stay was cheap, the location was more than adequate, and the facilities were clean enough. If I were on a budget next time I came back to Melbourne I would definitely consider staying here again.
