What a great little find this hotel is, located down an alleyway you do wonder what you will find , however rest assured it is much more than it seems. Decent sized rooms, laundry facilities, lovely deep bath. .lol ,staff are always happy to help, & the breakfast choice is excellent and huge, in a quite extraordinary basement space. .....

Great Hotel, it's not the Ritz, it's a little dated but it's clean and friendly. It's the location, your right in the middle of Everything. You have to nip down an alley to get to the front Entrance, but there are Signs Big ,bold and Green to Direct you. A shuttle bus Sky or Star, will take you to and...

We've stayed at this hotel twice now. Its quiet, clean, private and close to everything. The continental breakfast is an added bonus. It's not a fancy luxury hotel but it is still a great central place to stay and base yourself from. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Average customer service. All correspondence over the find was extremely hard to understand and short. The carpet is across the street which is fine, although they don't tell you that the elevators don't work on weekends so you have to carry all your luggage around the levels of the car park to the ground level. If we had of known...

Stayed here over grand final weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly location was great down an alley so it was quiet at night. Our room was pretty close to the lift but wasn't a problem. We didn't have breakfast included as there's heaps of options nearby. WiFi was extra. Happily stay here again.

Stayed here with our toddler after an event. Friendly staff, quiet, central location. Booked a great deal through hotels.com, and still had our room upgraded on arrival. Don't forget to get your overnight parking rebate! Highly recommend!

We didn't stay at this hotel but did at the sister hotel down the road so we never made it further than the reception and the bathrooms here (which I will add are very nice!) however I just had to share our awesome service encounter with the staff here at reception... We were at this hotel for an airport shuttle...

Ok, so...its continental breakfast, so it's very basic! Decent gym, never more than 1 peron on there when I used it daily! Laundry room on floor 5, $4 for a wash, it says $3 or $3.80 for a dry, but I put $1 in the dryer and it gave me 30 minutes! View was terrible, dull office block! However, this...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
