Travelling in a group of 5 and took the 2 bedroom apartment. The unit was of a good size and the room can easily fit an extra bed. Housekeeping service was very good and prompt. Fantastic location with shops and food nearby and a tram stop outside the front door. Will definitely go back.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom executive apartment on 23rd floor. (2302) Room faced Bourke Street and had stunning views of the city from living area and main bedroom. Air conditioning in each room was effective and necessary in the high-temperature days that we stayed. Location is excellent. On the edge of theatre district and Chinatown with tram stop outside the...

We stayed here while visiting Melbourne for a family wedding. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment, which was ideal travelling as a three, having two bathrooms was great. The apartment was big, clean and well appointed, everything we could need for a 3 night stay. The views over the city were excellent and we enjoyed having hotel style amenities,...

The apartment/hotel is well located, easy and convenient to get to shopping street and rest of the CBD, by walking or free tram. Room is comfortable, clean and cosy. Although my room was right by the lift, it was still quiet and privacy. Had good sleep and felt at home. Service staff especially front desk team is helpful and friendly....

Clean, large, comfortable room. Quiet, and close to transport, shopping, theatres and restaurants. Kitchenette fully equipped. My request for a room away from the lifts was noted and actioned. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for three nights and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Melbourne. Located in the heart of the city yet away from any noise that may keep you awake. In close walking distance to all Melbourne has to offer, we even walked to DFO (15min). Staff were all friendly. Front desk always had plenty of staff...

The hotel is neat and service is just average. I would not say everything is exceptionally impressive. Something about this hotel that does not give a happy vibe?! I think the whole place is lacking colours or flowers. It looks like a business conference centre lacking a holiday spirit. The entire hotel is filled with lifeless dark colours. The queen...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
