Stayed here during first visit to Melbourne, great location, everything is within walking distance, if you don't feel like the exercise the tram stop is not far away. Great hotel, stayed on the 19th floor with a great view of the city. Would recommend this hotel.

What a disappointment we found this hotel to be. We booked based on its fantastic reviews and how everyone raves about its city views. Being our wedding anniversary we treated ourselves to a more expensive room, a 1 bed deluxe suite, I added to my booking a request for a city view - just to be sure, we also mentioned...

We stayed for two nights at the end of a 2 week trip back to Melbourne. We lived in the city for 6 years and wanted to treat ourselves to stunning city views for our final two nights. We were not disappointed! I'd requested a room on a high floor and we had one on level 22. The view was...

The hotel is situated in a great location, with Chinatown and nearby shopping centres in walking proximity. Tram station is just right infront of the hotel, and is within the free tram zone. Room is huge, clean, and comfortable. Met our needs and is reasonably priced.

The apartments are clean and modern, the staff friendly and the room service is reasonably priced. I often stay here when i travel for work. In my opinion it has all the earmarks of a 5 star hotel for a fraction of the cost to you buisness or own hip pocket.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
