After my husband booked what we thought what would be a great few days away with the kids taking them to the zoo. We would be Staying in a beautiful two bedroom. apartment with amazing views. As a working family We save for things luxury’s like this! The kids had been to the zoo were super tired we arrived around 4ish on the 28th April 2022 the guy that had checked us in has said to my husband i noticed when i was up there it was a bit wet but wasn’t sure were the leakage was coming from?We thought nothing of it must be okay or they wouldn’t let it out.After the kids which are 5 year old twins had a bath with the tap falling off and hitting one of them on the head we let out the bath water roughly 5 minutes later were now walking in wet carpet worked out it’s coming from the bath as previously my hubby had a shower it was fine.So my Husband rang up to report the water leaking on the carpet stating it was coming from the bath “ said we wouldn’t use the bath again”Thought someone would come up that night or even the next day to check no one did come up at all during our stay felt a bit neglected. Walking constantly on the wet carpet kids getting wet socks as they wouldn’t keep on there shoes inside the apartment.To top it off had to do washing dryer not working at all and the clothes horse that was provided was broken so took the washing down the street to the laundry mat.Friday the 29th being the next day the twins sleeping in the second bedroom came out with chewing gum we do not have or allow this in our household asking where did this come from? they took me into the bedroom under the bed i was mortified under the bed found cardboard boxes (flattened)drink bottle adults looked like than at the bed head found chocolate papers and balloons some looked like they had been used? I took photos couldn’t believe this especially with Covid around you have to be that extra careful. I then proceeded to check out the rest of the apartment deeper inspection the laundry sink dirty unclean the laundry cupboard unclean & rust, the linen cupboard unclean the kitchen chairs very stained.We live in a small county town over 5 hrs from melbourme so our getaways are seldom but special.After paying nearly $300 a night staying two nights in total was sorely disappointed.So on checking out 30th April 2022 i went to hand in the keys no one in the office so i rang up the number that was there after a few phone calls i finally got thru to a lady telling her our disappointment frustration of the state the apartment was in how things we felt was handled she than said they would reimburse me for the laundry mat money my reply was i was looking at getting a refund for all our two day stay as it wasn’t a enjoyable stay! if we had the extra money we would of went and stayed elsewhere but that wasn’t a option for us sadly her reply again was i’m so sorry i will get my manager to call you.After sending a email with attached photos of the apartment which included a video of me walking on wet carpet, the items found under the second bedroom and pics of the laundry and stained chairs broken tap bath.Having to call numerous times to 4 days later receiving a email from the manager stating they get in professional cleaners so apartment was clean? The bath tap he stated was working not broken before us also stated the guy had told my husband not to use the bath? So not true the guy had told my husband wasn’t sure were the leakage was coming from?My opinion you pay good money for these apartment views so you expect all to be of working order and clean! Our holiday time we spend together we appreciate nearly 4 years ago my then 36 year old husband had a massive cardiac he was gone for over 18 minutes he survived!! Our times away are meant to be happy not stressful not having to deal with this! The manager also added at the end of his email his good will gesture is a $100 credit on our next visit.. I informed him thru email because my calls went unanswered the way we felt we have been treated we won’t be back!! His good will gesture should be to give us back our money for our stay! We have been staying at this accommodation for over 10 years now. They always go above and beyond with their service. Everything you need for a home style stay is provided, eg coffee machine, bread maker, sandwich toaster, full cooking appliances, rice cooker (salt/pepper, oil, paper towels, napkins, foil, cling wrap, picnic plates, large supplies on hand). If it’s not there they will supply. On top of all that you get accommodation that’s kept in immaculate condition, super clean, not like some of the other places we have stay at in the same area. We stayed recently - the fourth time - for the tennis. The apartment was clean and everything we could have needed was there. Paul was a great host there when you needed him. The cafes nearby are great for a morning coffee. Thanks for a great time.
This apartment was perfect for our family vacation. Friendly welcome and attention. Big size and very well organized apartment size. Welcome folder with my name with all type of helpful information. Everything available in the apartment was wonderful (laundry machines, washing powers, kitchenware, extra towels) Parking availability
Stayed for 5 nights recently with a friend while attending the Australian Open Tennis. Apartment was great! Clean, spacious and modern. Location in Docklands was good too and an easy tram ride into the city. Had a local Woolworths close by (walking distance) for supplies. Paul and Belinda were great hosts. Always answered my emails promptly and provided a good overview of the area and apartment on check in. A great pool in the complex also. Very happy with our stay and will definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.
We were initially a little hesitant booking this executive apartment but trusted the high review rating by others. Indeed, on checking in, found the apartment fully equipped and clean. Comfortable! Take note, you need to contact the operator when you arrive the airport to update him/her your time arrival to the apartment (about 30min from Melbourne airport) so they will be there to meet you and arrange for your check in. Although, there are no service rendered once you take over the apartment but everything needed are provided for the entire stay. If needed, we can contact the apartment staff who will gladly assist. This apartment is so convenient to 3 shopping malls; one of it is a factory outlet (DFO South Wharf), Spencer City Mall & The District Docklands. All within walking distant of 15 min. Also, the free tram services are within walking distant plus payable tram or even train services that can take you to other parts of Melbourne or outside of Melbourne. For breakfast, it’s so convenient to pick up from Woolsworth Supermarket daily beverages, food or fruits that are needed (apartment even provide a trolley to help contain the purchases to facilitate ease of carrying). We will stay in this apartment next time when we are back in Melbourne.…
The apartment was very good, had everything you would want and very clean. The parking was good and the location was even better. Short walk to bars, restaurants and transport. Paul was very welcoming on arrival and made the arrival process very easy.
Great location and great apartment. We stayed for 3 nights for business and found the apartment very convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful for our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a great view. Very happy, and would definitely recommend.
Great two bedroom two bathroom apartment. I really liked the coffee mugs which were a good size made me feel like I was at home. Very good secure parking. Very close to trams and marvel stadium. Just a short walk to Southbank. Will stay there again.
We stayed at the apartments for Easter. The apartments are kept extremely clean. There is loads of space. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Paul and Belinda are very gracious hosts. We were met with a smile at our arrival of nearly midnight. We will stay here again.
