Another gem i found in Melbourne. I visit Melbourne regularly for work and could not get accomodation recently. I had read some good report on tripadvisor about the Best Western so decided to give it a go. My first impressions were wow this seems like...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

Parking available on site and it is now $20 per night with multiple entries exits allowed. So u can come and go as you please. Easy access from Spencer Street, especially if approached from La Trobe st, has a narrow shared up down ramp but totally the cheapest convenient parking in Melbourne cbd in any hotel or car park. This to me is a huge plus in booking here. Tip, when accessing the hotel parking floors, don't stop on the first available floor if only one awkward spot left head up 1 or 2 and usually a lot more room so easier to park.
