Very handy for all activities planned during our stay, for theatre, CBD, and Melbourne International Flower Show. Tram and bus were close by. Helpful front desk staff re booking taxis and making suggestions during stay.

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed accept biscuits to have with a cup of tea. The location was great with it being close to public transport. The staff were friendly and well presented.

Everything was good except the bed was uncomfortable and there was nothing in the fridge to offer, everything else was good, but i wouldnt stay more than a night at that quest hotel, i had previously stayed at quest at caroline springs and that was amazing

A great location with a short walk to the office. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with good amenities. however the tv channels were difficult to view, gave up on using.

Great location and friendly staff however the air con didn't work or get fixed for the week I was there. Very basic kitchenette which was a bit tired but the microwave worked. Shower bath was also awkward to get in and out of and didnt drain very well

This hotel is in a quiet part of town so really great on a weekend. Not much in the way of breakfast on the weekend though, and their breakfast in room service is not available on weekends. But a short 5 min walk found us at the Marriott for breakfast. TV reception was dodgy to say the least I thought...

Our room faced onto an alley and the noise from other units, rubbish collection and the street did not allow for a restful stay. The bed was not the best, mattress maybe required replacing. Bathroom a one person room. The staff were great and very welcoming

A night in the city for a concert at Etihad. Two minutes from Parliment station - caught the loop train and we were there! Great discount parking available which allowed us to shop before departing city the next day. Will stay again for theatre.

wasn't overly satisfied with the quality of this quest. the room was small and had no balcony. extra amenities weren't available with a card. the location was the prime reason we went there. like Lonsdale street and easy to get to

Perfect for staying overnight when going to Melbourne's theatre district. Short walk to 3 popular theatres. Very cheap, clean and comfortable. Also very close to Melbourne's Chinatown restaurant area so great location.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
