I booked this location for 3 nights in November 2016 for its seemingly good review & convenient location for my work appointments. HOWEVER, I didn't get to stay there because of a burst hot water system in the room that I have reserved, but they did put me in another accommodation that is much further away (on the same street)....

Dear Mushix2 It was an inconvenience to us all that the hot water system flooded the apartment allocated to you. The apartment we found for you in another establishment was only 10 minute stroll from here, was at further expense to us and we expected it to be of a similar standard - so we understand your disappointment. We do...

Airport bus dropped us off 2 minutes walk from the hotel, managed an early check-in and were very pleased with front desk service and our apartment on the 5th floor. Spacious, clean, all amenities intact, free wi-fi, good information in room. Comfortable beds and windows that open!! Good location for nearby restaurants, close to the Block Arcade and good 'European...

These apartments are convienient and clean. Perfect for your home away from home. However this time around I travelled with 4 other ladies and having the 1 bathroom was a little hard..but we managed! Perhaps an extra mirror up in the loft would help? Love how the room is serviced daily with toiletries replenished. Staff are also friendly and helpful.

Arrived at 9.30 all locked up. Notice to call number which went to answer phone with alternative number. Called that got answer phone to call same number again. Had to find another hotel. Next day Manager shot off home at 2 so still not sure if we'll get refund - AVOID.

Extremely handy cbd location. Close to lots of places to eat, not far from tram stops (within free tram zone) and metro station (Parliament nearest station) if one doesn't want to walk. Literally 10 minutes from Federation Square and Flinders Street Station. Roomy interior with good size living area providing some space for children to play. Bathtub, in-room washing machine,...

I have stayed many times in Melbourne. These appartments have to be up with the best places I've stayed. Great central location. They are roomy with great facilities. Kitchen, laundry, lounge and dinning areas. One thing I highly rate for anywhere I stay is the shower. This rates so high. Hot and strong. Will definitely stay again.

A group of friends stayed here for a night on the town. The location is great, with Collins, Bourke, Russell and Exhibitions streets all literally seconds away, with more great spots to eat and drink not much further away. The room we stayed in was a 2-bed apartment, nicely appointed and well furnished. There was a full kitchen (we didn't...

We would stay here again, quiet, clean, modern, comparably affordable, friendly staff and a super fast lift! The rooms were warm and bedding was soft. The amenities were great and everything went well.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
