This apartment hotel is excellently positioned close to restaurants and shopping. As stated in previous reviews, the rooms are a bit dated and tired looking but clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very good and welcoming. The continental breakfast was good with the option of ordering eggs to your liking. An enjoyable stay.

Great reception at this very convenient hotel. We had a high floor apartment, very, very spacious, clean and tidy, comfortable large double bed, TVs, the full works. Lovely city view from the bedroom. Valet parking provided, but with city parking prices, leave the car with the rental company. Outside the hotel is the free city tramway, cool. But, I save... More

A comfortable stay. The room does look tired but everything's working fine - two TV sets, washer & dryer behind bathroom door, bathtub, dishwasher etc. Pillows are a tad too soft - I had to use 3 for my head. The hot and cold water in the shower is inconsistent, alternating between really hot and cold. Staff are friendly and... More

Great location - within steps from major shops in the CBD e.g. David Jones. Belongs to a decent chain therefore offers good service and quality room amenities but clearly a little tired now. Room was cleaned as best as it could be but the carpet itself was old. Not hard to imagine how it would have been an excellent choice... More

Stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Quite spacious and very light. Everything needed is in the apartment. With eateries, trams, shops and amenities within walking distance, this hotel has an amazing location. The rooms are very spacious and bedding is adequately comfortable; despite being a little dated. The rooms are clean and neat upon checkin, however, housekeeping can be improved.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
