If you have booked and fully paid for your accommodation at Milano apartments and you receive a phone call informing you that there has been a flood (or some other unforeseen circumstance) and the management offer to transfer you to their sister property Tribecca - think carefully before you accept this offer.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults for a weekend. The apartment was a good size and had everything you could possible need. We had a balcony which was nice. The stand out point was the staff. We were delayed by 2 hours due to bad weather and when we called (still sitting on the tarmac) the girl...

I stayed here for two weeks on a business trip. The room was nice with two bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked well-enough with utensils. I was on the 14th floor facing Franklin Street. Even at that height there was Smoot of street noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Theres a decent enough grocery store right next door, and the...

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights, and were really impressed with the Milano Serviced Apartments. The apartment was generous in size and fitted out with everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer. It was spotlessly clean, and serviced every day, which we appreciated. The best thing was how quiet it was at night. I am...

For the money and the rating could have been much better. They are redecorating, no shower screen the whole weekend so water everywhere! Dryer didn't work, no toiletries, for the rating u expect a few things to be covered. Only good thing was location and kids liked the pool. Will choose elsewhere on next trip.

Good location in the heart of Melbourne city and close to all businesses and tourist attractions. Apartment was generally well equipped, though minor things missing, such as Shampoo and liquid soap. I stayed at the 12th floor and you could hear every tram on the street passing by...... Maybe in a higher floor it is better Last, the Internet speed...

Firstly, the location within Melbourne was pretty good. The Lygon St food district was a short walk for some very good restaurants. We had a 2 bedroom apartment that was comfortable. Nice furnishings etc. The Gym was well set out with a good range of equipment. The pool was "Out Of Order" until further notice. The kitchen had all the...

We stayed here recently for 4 nights. Two apartments were booked for us, 1x 2 bedroom apartment and 1 x 1 bedroom apartment. Surprisingly both apartments were very small to how it looks on the internet. Our apartment was clean and quite comfortable even though it was tiny. Staff were friendly but must say when we reported a few things...

It's near the shops in melb city centre and the public trams. Great that there are car rentals and a supermarket right downstairs. A short walk to Queen Victoria Market makes marketing convenient. The place is small but cozy. Service could definitely be better. Management complained that we did not wash up after cooking on thurs (yes, partially our fault)...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
