The location of this homestad is pretty special. Nice place to stay for a few days! Some beautifull places and creeks to visit, great swimming spots. But the best thing of this place is the service. It was perfect!!! Never met such nice people at a hotel!! Verry kind and nice people. Dinner is great as well!!

Mt. Hart is over 40km from the Gibb Road, but the road is in good shape, and there are nice things to see along the way. THe tents with en-suites were comfortable enough, and not hot at night with a little ventilation. The homestead rooms looked nice, but probably weren't as easy to ventilate, and did not have en-suites. The...

This campsite is 50 kms up a dead end track and therefore it can charge what it wants for its facilities. To camp at an unpowered site was $18 per person, washing was $7 per load and dinner was $40 per person. Soft drinks are $4 per can and Beer is $7.50. Its remote location of course has to be...

This was booked for us in a longer trip, I see now that they don't book people into this one, gee thanks! I'm lead to believe it's around $600 per night for a couple, 3 course meal and breakfast included. Booked into the 'lodge rooms' nice big room, comfortable bed, very thin pillows thankfully there were spares. No locks on...

Thank you for staying at Mt Hart Homestead. Most visit Mt Hart Homestead because of its remoteness and lack of commercialisation. We are working on developing a very special dinner at sunset hill and hopefully soon many will get to experience this wonderful dinner. Your comments relating to our owner are very harsh and unjust. Our owner is an extremely...

This is one of those stays that you'll likely never forget. It's a long old drive off the main track to get there which only adds to the adventure. The homestead is open, spacious and welcoming. There's plenty to explore locally on the grounds and beyond. You might catch a dingo bouncing along the airstrip like we did. Yep, it's...

We stayed here for three days, what a great experience, owls and bowerbirds in the gardens, comfortable accomodation, good service, friendly staff. Really enjoyed the campfire behind the bar area at night. Scenery was great and glorious sunsets and lovely starry nights. A lovely relaxing place to stay.

Mt Hart accommodation is not the cheapest. Like most Gibb River Rd places, you pay for the service in an isolated location. At the price, a bathroom is to be expected but it is not provided. The room was large and comfortable but lacked security. The were screens instead of windows and no door locks on the room. It was...

We stayed for 2 nights. One night in the homestead and one night in the tent. Whilst the homestead is air conditioned, the beds and pillows are very old and uncomfortable. We decided to upgrade to a tent. They are very exposed to the scorching sun and would be greatly improved by planting a lot more trees around them. Upgrades...

Stayed here twice in recent months whilst doing Gibb River Road. First time lat May with my wife and after her holiday ended a mate flew over and joined me for a few weeks. Pleasant drive in and safari type accommodation with ensuite so were very adequate. had one night in a larger bungalow and definitely prefer the safari camp...

Amazing drive to the homestead. Friendly people, all about the service not the dollar. Safari tents great with your own shower and toilet. Sensational food. Great base to go and explore the surrounding Kimberleys.
