My partner & I stayed in Bush Cottage for two nights. When we arrived Chris and Tracey welcomed us warmly and escorted us through their beautiful property to the cottage. There was a loaf of freshly baked bread waiting for us and after a quick run through of the hows and wheres we were left alone to enjoy the peacefulness....

We stayed at Bush Cottage, Kohukohu for 3 nights in late December. Upon arrival, we were presented with homemade bread, local honey, jam and marmalade. Bush Cottage is set right next to an impressive stand of native bush, including mature kauri, pohutukawa and puriri. The resulting bird live is impressive, with tuis, kereru ( wood pigeon ), and king fisher...

We were very fortunate to have stayed at "Bush Cottage" at the The Exchange while we were visiting the Northland of New Zealand. It is one of our favorite places that we stayed at on our 7 month Round The World Trip (South America, NZ and SOuth East Asia) and will definately like to stay there again if we can...
