5.18pm and have just tried to order a toasted sandwich and a Diet Coke. Reception just called me back - we don't make sandwiches until 9.30pm and no Diet Coke. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't bother staying here. For $235 this is totally unacceptable. If you can't make a "sandwich" at 5.18pm ... why can you make it at 9.30pm? I'll spend...

Hotel is in need of renovation but found surrounding area of Hotel very clean. Room is adequate with a Queen size bed. Plenty of TV channel. I found all the staff very helpful . Kudos for that. Hotel is far from CBD. Its a 15 to 20 mins walk to the wharf or from Sky Tower. To the left is...

The rooms were old and small but clean. The location is very close to the University of New Zealand but a good walk to the city center and the wharf. There are a lot of eating areas around ranging from take outs to nice fine dining. Only complain about this hotel is their internet access, they only provide their guest...

Sadly this hotel is past it's use by date. In dire need of renovation, although rooms are quite comfortable they lack appeal and decor is dated. Staff are friendly but don't go up of their way to make you feel welcome. Paying for internet is also a major disappointment. I wouldn't stay here again

We stayed in this hotel on 8th Nov 2016.This hotel needs renovation. Lobby, room, dining hall were looking very pale & dull. No glittering. Dining hall is very small & cramped. Hotel receptionists & other staff are very friendly & helpful.

My husband and I stayed at the Quality Inn , Anzac Ave in July , We have stayed there several times over the years and found it very good- clean, central, staff helpful, rooms comfortable and meals enjoyable. This time was no exception. The beds were very comfortable, the new showers were excellent , and the staff as helpful and...

Spent a few nights here and found that the inside is surprisingly pleasant! It seems more of a boutique hotel - smooth elevators, cozy bar area, breakfast selection is vast, and the beds are comfy! Staff very helpful and the area is quiet. A 20 min walk to the action. Don't let the outside scare you!

This place is dilapidated and miserable. My shower leaked onto the doorway and ran out to the hallway, musty smell constantly coming into my room from outside, I could hear the male in the floor above singing and whistling while he was in the bathroom, front desk "slack" and the area is no good for people with heart or mobility...

An older hotel but our room was both clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Queens St and I wouldn't call myself fit. We had booked a harbour view room but were upgraded to a suite so this was an added bonus. Would stay again.
