This is a really dated hotel. I can't even remember the last time I've stayed somewhere with a key (instead of swipe card, etc). The door sealed poorly so noise and light came through all night. The shower was filthy. The wi-fi is pricey, $3/50mb. Was one of the only places left in town and had to spend $270! Will...

Unfortunately this hotel is old and tired but is a short walk to the city centre, Sky Tower and the harbour restaurants. The rooms could definitely do with an update although the bed was comfortable. Disappointed we had to pay for parking in the hotel car park and the staff were helpful but not overly friendly.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food at breakfast and supper was adequate. Our bathroom was basic but functional. The staff are polite and professional. The hotel public areas are a little old fashioned. This hotel is not in the best part of town but it's only a 20 minute walk into town centre. Great for 1 night.

This hotel badly needs a refurbishment. My room has mouldy ceiling. Cupboards are badly stained. Wooden furniture are covered with burnt marks where guests have put hot cups. The shower is over bathtub but there is no safety handrails. Wardrobes are tiny. It is ok for an overnight stay but not longer than that.

Stayed for one night at the end of a fabulous motor home experience and was sadly disappointed with what was an older tired property, room telephone not working and a very tired bathroom. Will not use this hotel again

Room clean and well serviced, somewhat small and had no drawers, bathroom dated but clean and adequate. Rooms feel in need of an update. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had breakfast, adequate choice food it could have been hotter, service good Offered guest laundry but only one washer and dryer. Location a short walk into the city.

I ladies on reception seemed flustered and not at all friendly even though it was quiet. The man on when I checked out was much better. I was told to order my food for dinner straight a way as a large group was comming in. I found that rude considering I was a paying guest. I ordered room service and...

I was sharing a room with a friend for 3 nights, and we noticed immediately after checkin that our bathroom door was broken (sliding door that wouldn't slide). We notified the reception, and they promised that someone would look into the issue very shortly. In the mean time, we went out for the evening. When we got back late at...

We were part of a tour group visiting Auckland to see Bruce Springsteen in concert. We stayed one night. The room was perfect, large king size & comfy. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate and while it could do with a bit of an upgrade it was very clean. We were very happy with the service. We had dinner...

Stayed 2 nights. Didn't want anything more than 3 star and this place was excellent for our needs. Room was good size. Clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable. Shower had been modernised and was very good. Though the door leaked. Staff were friendly and helpful, even when lots of guests were checking in/out. Location is ok. 10 minutes downhill to...
