More or less for the tour groups. Very small room, small shower with low water pressure. Beds are very old and " sinky " . Location was ok though. The best feature has got to be the buffet breakfast . Good variety for everyone. Overall, it was ok.

Apart from the good location the hotel disappoints from the start go. Apart from the lobby the passages and the rooms are in need of some serious facelifts. The passages are grubby looking and looked like they were last renovated in the '60's The doors and locks are comparable to some dingy hotel on the wrong side of the street...

I stayed here for two nights having arrived from Scotland and I had a very enjoyable experience. The location was ideal and only a short 10 min walk to all city centre amenities. The room was fantastic and I couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room and the facilities. The bed was super comfortable with no noise coming from the...

First of all I stand corrected but I think this Hotel is 31/2 Star Grading. I stayed at this Hotel for One night. I personally felt good about this Hotel. The only issue I had was that the restaurant only had a bistro style menu and I felt it could have more variety to suit all tastes. Overall I felt...

Generously sized rooms and good facilities. Within convenient walking distance of the downtown area (although Auckland is hilly, so you're uphill on the way back to the hotel). I was able to take advantage of an offer that included free internet access (which I think should be a standard inclusion in this day and age!!)

This hotel was not chosen by ourselves it was part of a Travel2 package to New Zealand but we did extend our stay with an extra night before the tour started. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, the rooms the lobby the dining area are all in need. The hotel is not in a very nice area and...

The location right at the harbor (and close to the downtown spots) can't be beat but that's pretty much all that's going for the hotel. It look like a dated cinder-block apt complex from the outside and the inside sustains the 70's look. Smallish rooms, basic amenities and little else to add. It's a functional place and if its just...

Stained carpet, chair falling apart, bathroom rather grotty and air conditioning wasn't working on a hot night. Thank goodness it was only a crash pad after a concert. It's a shame as location is amazing. They need to seriously consider either totally renovating or knocking it down as the location would be amazing for a new modern hotel

We stayed one night with our children in a family room. I think the beds were double so it was OK. The room was clean but felt cramped to us. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked and the TV had the channel we love the most - Māori Television (Channel 5). Thank you, thank you! We all had buffet breakfast...

This sort of feels like an older hotel in (for those who will find this a useful comparison) in a midwestern (US) city that's fallen on slightly hard times. It was clean, and all the surfaces (wallpaper, rugs, etc.) had been changed out recently. The room was cramped, it felt slightly cave-like (lots of little lights around the edges of...
