$75 room smack bang in the middle of auckland. Bed and a roof over your head, the only thing I found annoying was how long the water took to heat up! Apart from that, everything was in order. Free parking, good service, cheap room. We have been back and will again. Cheers guys.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights, and they were two of the best nights of sleep I've had in ages. The mattress was extremely comfortable (I like a firmer mattress as opposed to squishy), there was plenty of bedding to stay warm, and the sink in the room was very convenient. I didn't have a spectacular view from...

I stayed at the Kiwi International recently while in Auckland to watch the Blues-Hurricanes Super rugby match. The location is perfect as the bus stop to and from the airport is right outside the hotel. It's also great if you want to walk to Eden Park - takes about 30 minutes - as opposed to going to the bottom of...

Thanks for your great review. Yes we're a great location if you're in town for a game but also want to be able to walk to the night action.

Stayed for 3 nights in a twin room. Very clean, warm & no complaints especially considering the price. Also everyone from front desk on the phone & whoever I spoke to while there, to restaurant & house keeping were always friendly, helpful & appeared to be pretty happy! Kind of unusual these days. All good.

What a great review. Many thanks for that - it's not often all the staff come in for a mention so they'll appreciate that.

Great stay, even if it was for a night. The staff were very helpful at front desk, our room was clean and warm. We opted to have our own bathroom not shared. We even had a view looking over a park. We found a car park pretty easily, they say it's first in first serve as the parks are limited....

Thanks for your positive review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. The lift does raise a few smiles at times as it's not super smooth like the new ones but there are thousands the same throughout Europe in all the low level apartments and it's maintained by global lift company Otis.

We first chose this hotel for two things: free parking for our campervan and free wifi. About the free parking, yes, we can give you that, but the spots are very limited and it's first come first serve, which might mean that you're not having it after all. Once you park, also better do everything else around it walking. The...

We offer guests unlimited wi-fi supplied by fibre optic. If you run out a simple request to reception and more will be provided. Parking for a campavan is difficult at the best of times - they won't even fit into most commercial garages let alone free of charge. So here we are in the centre of NZ's biggest, most expensive...

low rate hotel, booked by friends, ewee sorry not my choice of hotel at all. Their are better places to stay for the same price, sorry guys. Very poor. No heating in the rooms, freezing when arriving from a warm country. No bar fridge. very basic. No extra blankets.

Clearly our hotel won't suit everyone and this reviewer falls into that category, probably wanting something more upmarket. We agree that there are better places at the same price but you won't find them in Auckland City. All the rooms have heating and we also provide extra portable heaters if that is not enough.

THis waz our first night stay in NZ and it was everything we needed. We stayed in a twin room with sep bathrooms. The room was clean and spacious. Complimentary towels and soap, showers were clean and had good pressure and hot water. Great central location, the staff were very friendly and helpful

3 friends and I stayed here for my friends 21st birthday. We arrived with a lot of bags and we struggled to park our car when we arrived. Thanks for taking the time to post a review however I feel we have a clear misalignment of expectation vs price paid. The reviewers will have paid $NZ46 per person for their triple ensuited room. While we offer... prime central city location, free parking which was taken advantage of, an ensuited room, free wi-fi etc.etc. we don't have the staffing...

The location and value can't be faulted. The room was small but clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I'm 6"4 and normally find it difficult to sleep well but I could here. You can hear people in the other rooms bathrooms and people outside as the walls are thin and windows aren't great. They did keep the cold out. I...
