If I had known that the sports bar underneath the hostel would go through to the early hours of each morning I would never had booked my stay here - every night the rowdy, drunk patrons of the sports bar kept me awake, and it sounded like a lot of them stayed at the hostel as the noise continued well...

I took a "single room" in this hostal, that for the money it could not be beat! Quiet throughout the night ... bathroom nearby. clean. I came in one day late, and they deleted one day of charge. The location cannot possibly be better. Walked 3 blocks to my cruise ship. would stay again.

Very good location. Situated in the city centre of Auckland. Easy access to everything around. Friendly and welcoming staffs which are very helpful in all aspects. Beds are nice. Most important, free, unlimited and very fast Wi-Fi :)

Great spot in the city centre. Room, showers and toilets are clean. Kitchen was fine (a bit small but it was ok). Welcoming staff. I was there around New Years Eve and i thought it might be too loud during the night but it wasn't at all.

This hostel is fine if you want to go out and party every night... it's in a very good location close to harbour, shops and buses.. my bed was very creaky I thought if I moved too much it might collapse! The reception is cool with free wifi and laundry, a tv and bar and pool tables.. the place is...

We stayed in there for a Christmas night in a double room. Was not bad, clean and the room had a window with fresh air, a sink, and a closet. The bathrooms were average clean, but the kitchen was tidy. The only drawback is that the backpackers does not have a parking, so it took us a while to find...

My husband and I had a "double" room. full size bed, closet, sink, toilet down the hall. Bring linen/blankets off bed when checking out. We were able to leave luggage in their storage during the day and night. Still needed to lug luggage up several stairs to enter Hostel. Nice people. Right downtown, near wharf etc. The biggest problem was...

This place is located at a great place, in the central Auckland and close to most attractions. However I wouldn't recommend someone to stay here if there are other options as this place becomes really noisy at night, with loud music playing all night. Not much is expected from a backpacker but there is much better options available in Auckland...

I don't have great expectations while staying at a backpacker but this one certainly is disorganised, messy and worse than most backpackers in the city. I would certainly prefer staying at other backpackers in the city in the same area which has the same rates, but provides better facilities and service. Plus the bar below makes it impossible to sleep.

full of younger backapckers, i did not sleep well and left after one night as i like a bit of peace and quiet. but if you want a party hostel, or somewhere cheap to look for work, its probably a good bet.
