Stayed for nights, arrived late on a Saturday. Be warned, it's noisy as you're at the centre of all the partying. Close to everything, close to countdown, free wifi. Bathrooms were okay, bedrooms were so clean! Staff were really friendly.

Stayed here for a few weeks whilst waiting to move into a house. Friendly informative staff! Very social hostel in a top location with a great social vibe. Bit noisy at night from the streets but what do you expect when your in the heart of the city. 2 pool tables in good condition, which is awesome! Would stay here...

We stayed at Queen Street Backpackers for one night prior to being picked up on Kiwi experience the next day. The location couldn't be better in terms of proximity to the Kiwi bus stop! We booked a private room, which was probably the most basic private room we had for the whole of our NZ trip. Literally just a room...

I chose this place based on price and because I was able to score a double for me and my friend our first night in New Zealand and it was close to the intercity bus depot! We were surprised that it was a super great place. It was clean and in a great location. They have free baggage storage which...

Rooms are dark and outdated, but clean, not many sockets and wifi doesn't work very well in furthest rooms. Kitchens are small but well equipt. Showers and toilets have good pressure but need updating. Wifi is good in reception and is free, on fort street off queenstreet so good location.

We got a double room with shared bathroom. Being aucklanders it was kinda weird being in "backpacker ville" a.k.a fort street. But you know...

The location is two mins from the airport bus and close to all transport it's big and there is a large common area but the whole place feels dingy and not very clean! There are no sinks in the toilets, no lockers in the rooms, or mirrors or accessible plugs and the wifi didn't work the whole time I was...

This is a busy backpackers hostel bang smack in the centre of the CBD district in Auckland. Everything you need is within a 5 minutes walk out of the door. I stayed here on a long term basis for 2 months. I shared a twin room with my friend from home and we had no problems with noise or disturbance....

Nice Hostel in central CBD BUT: worst beds I ever had in a backpackers! Not 31$ worth. Mattresses thin and soft so always feeling the wood of the beds. If you don't like sleeping on really hard beds don't come here! Even if manager was helpful and changed mattress it didn't help anything. Had the worst sleep in a Hostel...

A busy backpacker in a busy area, but kept clean and reasonably quiet. I was in a 8 beds-dorm, the space to store all the bags was fine, bunk-beds a bit shaky but confortable. The kitchen and living room are a nice place to meet up. Staff are friendly. The free wifi is definitely a plus ! It's a good...
