As per the title - the location is great, nice and central. Staff were friendly and welcoming, but that's about where it ends. The rooms without carpet might be better, but I've seen less suspicious stains in a crimescene. No airconditioning on a humid day made the room more unbearable than that awkward moment when you realise what the aforementioned...

Ibis budget is a simple non fancy accommodation for folks on a budget. Rooms are very small but clean. Wi-Fi is available. Tourists attractions at the wharf is about 10 minutes walk and eating places are visible along the main road from the hotel. Parents with kids may want to avoid this place.

If your just after a bed, this is perfect! Close to everything, small but clean. Will be using again when we need just a bed. Can be noisy on roadside rooms but they supply ear plugs as well. Parking is at a Wilson carpark but ibis validate your parking docket so you get a discount.

Booked a quiet studio on high floor to accomadation two adults. The hotel had 18 floors. Was allocated a room on floor 3 with a bar nearby . This was very very joisy. Requested room move and went to tiny room on 17 floor on front of hotel. This was still noisy until 03.30 in morning with music and shouting....

The Ibis Budget is very centrally located and has really great, compact rooms with balconies, views etc. We stayed in a double on the 17th floor and it was really excellent. They sure squeeze a lot of stuff into the available space, and it doesn't feel cluttered. Very friendly reception staff allowed us to check in early too. The location...

1 minute to Queen St, 8 minutes to Sky tower - very central. 16th floor so great view over the harbour. Enough space to comfortably walk around the double bed, space for a small computer table (not provided) to go with the chair. Cheap breakfast box available for purchase at reception or good cafe next door. Liked the stools available...

This austere hotel was selected as a stop gap stay due to its proximity to the Airport. The duty receptionist was not very friendly upon checking in demanding we pay in advance. The room was tiny no chairs barely sufficient room to get two suitcases in. Woukd not stay at this Hotel again

Tiny unkempt room ( cutlery available on request!), has one of those horrible tiny ironing boards, hairs in bathroom, window blind broken... indifferent reception staff... but handy location for noisy bars and street people. At $189 PN plus $30 for car parking... it's not even cheap and there are better places you could choose in Auckland. Bed was comfy enough...

This is definitely a budget hotel and perfect for your needs for flying out to Auckland the next day. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the airport or $5 shuttle every 15 min or so. We ended up walking, which isn't too bad. They don't provide shampoo here FYI. Only bar soap. Breakfast costs extra. So does wifi....

This was literally the only room available in Auckland last week. Auckland hotel rates are more than double that of New York and they were all sold out. I had to prepay for the three nights with no opportunity to cancel or get a refund. It is in an unpleasant part of downtown and crowded with backpackers. The room itself...
