Tidy, well layed out rooms, TV in bedroom and lounge. Most units have a sliding door from the bedroom out to a private sitting area. Very clean and a 2 minute walk away from the beach. Great prompt service from a friendly couple. Good parking for cars.

Although value for money for not good for more than a couple of nights. The top floor room was very hot, and with only a fan, ventilation and cooling was not good. Cooking facilities are minimal and well below the standard in most other NZ motels we've been accommodated in. However, it was very clean and well serviced, and mine...

Dad and I stayed for two nights-got there late evening, was recommended a lovely local restaurant called Peppers. The motel had upgraded us to a 1-bed suite which was lovely, didn't have to listen to dad snoring! Gave us a lift this motto catch the intercity bus to Napier-very helpful.

Spacious rooms, well cleaned, very well presented towels and beds, well stocked with kit. Nice bay window and plenty of opening windows in the heat. Parking directly outside door with covered area outside front door, but no seat. Bathroom...

We booked the Beachcomber only a week ahead for a great rate. Booked 2 rooms for 4 people. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Beds are a bit dated and so is the bedding. Love the location right across the street from the beach. Reception team is lovely.
