Me and a friend stayed here for two nights as we were passing through Hamilton, which by the way is like Birkenhead if you have ever been there, boring, no atmosphere and very strange. On arrival, the front door was unlocked and anyone could walk in, this was the case for most of our stay, not secure at all, you...

We stayed there for one night. The hostel is small, the kitchenette is also small, but clean and tidy. The hostel does not have a free parking place, but there is a street not too far where we parked for free. Our tween room was not bad, except it did not have a window. Actually, there was a window in...

I love this place. Its small and homely and open, funny, caring. Its like a miniature brief family. The manager, Sarah, shes the best thing since sliced bread. Seriously, if you get a chance to stay here then take it, you wont regret it.

There's not a lot of choice for backpacker hostels in Hamilton and this one wasn't the best nor the worst. It's an average hostel. It's small so it's a good place to meet people. It was in renovation while I was there so it was REALLY cold inside. It's clean and the service was okay, so was the wifi.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while in Hamilton. It was quiet, had excellent wifi and the kitchen had more than enough supplies. Staff were nice and friendly. Very helpful when we couldn't get into the hostel as our key didn't work.

Good location, good kitchen but just a tad small. great location and great wifi, staff are nice and it is easy to get a park close by. was quiet which was a nice change from other hostels, comfortable beds. Really enjoyed my stay.

Really nice and helpful staff. Nice big lounge area with comfy couches and a balcony. Kitchen is fine and a good size but some of the stove tops didn't work. Bathrooms are good but found it a bit strange that a religious radio station is pumped in through speakers throughout the day.

The hostel itself is very homey. It had a large selection of DVDs with a nice sized TV in the shared room. My friend and I had booked separately and was going to be in different rooms but they upgraded us to a twin for free. The wifi doesn't reach all of the rooms but the couch is very comfortable...

After having a fall through in plans I was left with no where to go late at night and I googled hostels in Hamilton and this one came up. I turned up quite late at night unexpected and asked if they had a room and luckily they did. Really really nice staff and my room was very tidy and had...

There are signs saying the hostel is undergoing earthquake improvement renovations. The double room had no windows and one skylight with no way to block the light. Our room became so hot we had to sleep with the door open, which increased the noise of people walking past. The staff were relaxed and helpful, there was free wifi, and there...

“The next time I would ask for a room with a window if I stayed longer. There was no option for separate female or male rooms, if that's something you're keen on but you can always ask the staff to change you around. They are pretty relaxed.”
