If you want a warm welcome, comfortable bed with ensuite that is completely private, access to a pool, brilliant breakfast, great advice as to where to go and what to do, borrow bikes even then Kate and Roger are the place to head. We had a simply brilliant time. Strongly recommend folk go.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights at this homestay just outside Napier. Our accommodation was very spacious and private with its own seating outside. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly and gave us lots of excellent advice which we were happy to act on. We loved the Napier area and plan to revisit and would have...

This was our third visit to Omaranui and it is still a great place to stay. Sadly, Sooty the butler cat is no longer with us, but has been replaced by Wilfred. Roger and Kate remain excellent hosts and the food, much of it homegrown, is very good. The Ladson's knowledge of the area is great and the location perfect....

Well if you want a very very nice place to stay in Napier, , then this is it. The best we have encountered in new Zealand. The biggest most comfortable room, the most helpful and hospitable hosts, they cant do enough for you. Wonderful gardens, top views. Well done Rodger and Kate.

Roger and Kate made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and were very helpful throughout our stay with information about the local area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Roger and Kate have a very warm welcome for guests staying with them at their home. They know the true meaning of homestay. The room is furnished to a high standard and has very comfortable furniture and bed. They provide tasty continental breakfasts with added extras. They offer their home as if you were part of their family and the...

We stayed only two nights on our way to Wellington. Kate and Roger are the perfect hosts: kind, helpful, of great and witty company, welcoming their guests heartly. Their house is wonderful with an awesome garden and a small heated pool (for the guests to use it, too). The guests' room is big and clean with a huge king size...

We really loved our stay at Omarunui homestay. The room was spacious and cosy, it contained a very good bed and the breakfast was delicious. But what really made the stay so good was the hospitality of Kate and Roger. The are extremely friendly, they recommended good places for dining and they even let us use their bikes. We truly...
