Our stay in the Parkside Lodge was perfect! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room very clean and equipped with all commodities! Definitely the best value for money in town! We would stay there again! Just keep in mind: because of the location outside of the city centre, having a car is a big advantage!

Apart from a bit of noise an wear an tear which is expected from a motel an the double beds were all booked out, I had twin singles which I didn't mind, but I enjoyed my stay, the room was excellent had all the comforts, the air con was awesome, the staff were very helpful, has a self help kitchen...

great room that was comfortable, clean and had air condition. The shared kitchen and that with the outside seating area was great to meet other travelers in. Friendly staff and the owner was interesting to talk to.

Good lodge with good communal cooking facilities. My daughter was fascinated with the Record player. The owners were obliging when I wanted to move rooms as my husband and daughter were joining us. Rooms were very clean and tidy

great location for the wineries. clean, cosy, intimate. good price, home baking and coffee maker at your disposal also a fully equipped kitchen. lots of little spaces to have 'quiet time', delux room had sky TV which was unexpected. friendly staff. my only minus is the walls are very thin and you can hear a lot of things.

We came to Napier for the cricket and stayed at the Parkside Lodge and thought it was faultless. The room and facilities were all great and it has a relaxed vibe with its shared kitchen and outdoor area and our room also had its own outdoor table and chairs. It was great value but it is a short drive out...

Big thank you to staff, so accommodating, hard to get that these days. Feels like it may of been a retirement home once but the decor and the corridors are really quirky and retro, amazing. look forward to calling again :)

Almost home away from home. Own bedroom and bathroom, but also opportunity to cook in shared kitchen. We did not use kitchen. Great as just a place to sleep and shower. Wifi really good, would have been nice to have Sky in room not just in lounge as I wanted to watch netball at 2.30am on Sunday. Recorded it at...

This was a lovely place to stay, reasonably priced with a clean and tidy room. The room wasn't big but considering the price was perfectly adequate. The most noticeable feature was the friendliness of the staff and the homely feel.

It is clear from the wide corridors double bedroom doors and paper thin walls that the Parkside lodge is a converted old peoples home or hospital but dont let that put you off as it adds to the quirkyness of the place. With the addition of vintage memorabilia dotted around the property this is a cute little place to stay....
