The sleep quality was good, we can't complaint. But we also were in a car, not a tent. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and had essential utensils to use. Quite pleased. First time we encounter permanent residents though in a campervan park. Some people choose to live this way. Some campervans are massive!

Nice reception helpful and we had a good sized pitch away from the road. 2 toilet blocks, clean with plenty of hot water. New block had combined even and shower units, unfortunately as it gets dark the opaque glass doors hides very little of the occupants. The wifi is rubbish could not connect the phone or laptop continually lost connection

Thank you Old Romantics for your review and for making us aware of the opaque doors - we will fix that immediately. So sorry you didn't make us aware of your wifi issues as we could have fixed that for you also. Wishing you safe travels.

Toilets, sinks and showers are really clean and the whole bathroom has a higher standard than I would expect from a Camping place. the kitchen has the same standard as the bathrooms. really clean. Wifi is not free but definitly has an acceptable price. Power for Camper vans works perfect without problems. moreover the whole area is clean including the...

This site contains some permanent residents and some storage containers, but don't let that put you off. The site is level, with very generously sized powered sites. Can be a bit windy and newly planted Leylandii will eventually provide a screen against Westerly winds. The facilities, especially the new ones, are spotless. The frosted glass doors are a bit disconcerting...

I arrived here to stay for 10 days as part of travelling around NZ, and have just kept extending my stay. When I went to Australia for 2 months, Vicky and Eddie stored my car and belongings, dropped me off and picked me up from the airport and are generally lovely all of the time- they will help with absolutely...

The sites tourist are expected to accept are absolutely awful. Priority is given to the permanent residents who are the only people able to access the covered walkway described in the guides. We were dumped on a dusty site which was the worst one we have had since being in NZ. We have been here eight weeks so far. There...

This campsite is a hidden gem! Owners are lovely and so helpful. Great location and the cleanest toilet/shower and kitchen block I have ever experienced. Small site so need to book in busy season but definitely one to consider if touring in the area, I would have no hesitation on going there again

We were lucky to get an excellent spot close to the walkway and all facilities. Clean, tidy, quiet, WiFi. Everything you need. Short trip (by camper van) into Napier to enjoy the Art Deco history of this lovely city. You can park your camper/motor home (all day/free) in a designated area along the foreshore in Napier while out and about.

We stayed here for one night in January. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and given a map of the region with all the best places marked out. We had a small campervan so we made good use of the common kitchen area which was clean and had good equipment for us to use. The shower area was clean and...
