Picked this B&B for it's location by the Redwoods. It did not disappoint. Quiet area but easy to get in and out of a lovely town. Host Vivien was great, conspiring with our kids to surprise us on mother's day! Room and breakfast were excellent. Would highly recommend B&B@ The Redwoods.

The B&B is located in a nice and quiet area of Rotorua right next to the amazing redwood forest, which was one of Viviens first recommendations. Vivien welcomed us very friendly and we felt us home right away. She gave us such great recommendations for hiking and dining ( Atticus Finch ) and organized everything for us. It was a...

Maybe not the view of some but lovely patio overlooking a pleasant scene. So close to fascinating 115 year old Californian Redwoods. Host Vivienne, with her vitality counters some of the magnificent vista we have experienced. The B&B very conveniently located to CBD and yet close to the thermal activity. I took a brief ride around the outskirts of the...

We like that the location is not in the middle of town which provides us tranquility of the place and yet it is only a short 5 mins car ride from the city Centre which gives us access to a wide variety of restaurant options. There are 2 guest rooms which are in a separate wing of the main house...

We were lucky enough to find this place, now you are too! Vivienne is a great host. My husband and I were looking for a place close to the redwoods to go mountain biking, this B&B is one block away. We stored our bikes in the garage, Vivienne made us a great breakfast each morning, and arranged a thai massage...

We were greeted by Vivienne who, upon discovering that we were on our first trip to New Zealand, gave us a comprehensive map tour of the local area with the outcome that we optimised our time brilliantly. The accommodation is excellent, clean and hospitable. Breakfast is a great choice and your hostess is eager to assist in your plans for...

Let's cut the chase, what separates The Redwoods from other B&B's is the redoubtable Vivian, who must be one of the most approachable and charming hosts we have encountered. The accommodation is fine, the bedroom is a good size and the ensuite more than adequate and you have full use of a large and well furnished guest lounge. The location...

Vivien was a great hostess and very gracious, even when we checked in at 12:30 a.m! The room was very comfortable. Breakfasts were great. She had great suggestions for things to do in the area. Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rotorua.

Spent three lovely days here in Nov. 2015. The room and common areas were first class, spotless and comfortable. Vivian, our host, went out of her way to be helpful, breakfast was super, and we would return there any time we were in Rotorua.

We had an excellent time! Vivien was a wonderful host and always went above and beyond for us. She helped us plan our trips, provided nourishing food that met our dietary restrictions and interacted wonderfully with our child. I can't say enough good about the place. I will be going back!
